The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard.
