Spilinga is geographically located between Monte Poro, Cape Vatican and Tropea in the province of Vibo Valentia. The place is famous for the famous sausage, "la Nduja", for the many nature trails and sunsets on Stromboli.

Gherly's place is surrounded by nature, it's simple but has everything you need, and it has a beautiful ocean view! From the balcony we could dine watching the sunset! It has a private beach with an umbrella and deckchairs and you can access it on foot or by car. The beach is truly beautiful! Gherly is charming, always willing and even offered us a late check-out that allowed us to have a quiet breakfast and leave without rushing, too bad we couldn't take advantage of it longer because we had to continue our trip. In my opinion, a car is necessary, but if you like to walk, the train station is not far away. I recommend it 100%! Thank you Gherly, we had an amazing time!

A perfect location and a beautiful house! We wished we had booked for longer. The views were incredible with the most beautiful sunsets. Maria was the perfect host - really helpful and so welcoming. The house was spotless and charming - we felt totally at home during our stay. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Marco’s amazing home on the beach. What made our 4 days stay extra special in the downstairs apartment was the very comfortable bed, the new kitchen with everything we needed, the ample outdoor space and the beautiful beach right in front of us.

Mark & Brenda‘s apartment was super nice and super clean. The ocean is not so far and also very clean. Tropea is beautiful. You can cook in the apartment and we really enjoyed the bed because it is soft. The neighboors above were also super kind and helpful. Mark was a lovely host. He supported us always and provided helpful infos. We will come back.

The view is really beautiful from the nice garden. It is blissful to bbq'and while you enjoy the sunset. Everything is available in the house. The welcome is warm and the communication with Aurelia and Antonio went smoothly despite the language barrier.

Very nice house with magnificent garden in the middle of the countryside with a breathtaking view of the sea, Stromboli, the Aeolian Islands and Sicily (with Etna) and spectacular sunsets. Although the house is a true haven of peace due to its location, you can reach all the highlights of the area the places, coves and beaches of Capo Vaticano, the Costa degli Dei with Tropea in a short time. I particularly liked the really very good amenities, which also makes longer stays (5 weeks) very pleasant and Eleonora is a very nice and helpful host who responds very quickly if you need additional support. Another note for drivers of electric cars: the AC shop in the immediate area (San Domenica, Tropea) and the coast up to Pizzo is very easy and for longer excursions in all directions such as Catanzaro, Crotone, Badolato, Gerace, Scilla, Pentedattilo you will always find some fast chargers along the way.
