Beautiful large home. So fortunate to bring our dogs on holiday also with a fabulous fenced section and great neighbours. Incredibly warm even in the middle of winter.

Perfect Weekend Getaway! Thank you for sharing your lovely home—we had a wonderful weekend. The house was well-equipped throughout & games like Scrabble & cards, and the beautiful open fire & lots of comfy seating which made for a cosy evening toasting marshmallows after a nice meal next door at the Cozzie Club. We were blessed with perfect sunny winter days, enjoyed peaceful beach walks, and soaked up the Saturday afternoon sun on the front deck. It was the ideal spot to celebrate our late mum’s birthday as we head into her first memoriam week—very special and meaningful for us all. We all agreed we’d love to come back again. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Lisa’s place at Foxton Beach. The bach was perfect for our family of four - spacious, easy to walk/bike to the estuary and parks, a short drive to the beach. Fish and chips right next door, and games and books for the kids. Lovely deck out the back. In the middle of winter it was cosy and warm. Even a friendly visiting cat :) The bach has everything you need and more.

This was a perfect for a weekend away. It is close to the beach and full of all day sun. The house was very clean and presented with lovely linen and touches. Rachel was so easy to deal with and very helpful. Thank you so much! We definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Absolutely loved our stay at Andrew’s, it was so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful native bush, meaning the bird life was bountiful. The house was everything we needed, the fireplaces made us feel at home and cozy. Communication was great, and Catherine was super helpful and always available for questions. We’ll be back for sure!!

Pristine presentation and cleanliness. A really comfortable, warm and lovely home. Extremely well fenced for our small dog (no escape routes!). Great access to beach and Waitarere Forest - a really lovely spot. We will return - one of our best Airbnb experiences!

We loved the tranquility and peace, and it was a great location near the beach. It's well set up and we loved the secure fences for our two Jack Russells. All in all, a very good choice for a leisurely weekend away from Wellington. It ticked the boxes.

Very homely place to stay with beach access really close so you can stroll to the beach within 5minutes. Place is set up to make you feel comfortable and at home. We loved that. Everything you need plus a lovely outdoor private area at the back. Catches the sunshine in the morning so was nice during May/June to sit for morning coffee. The indoor shower is a bit of a wild experience. Once we got the hang of it we were set. But not enough of a problem to put us off staying there again. We had a dog and it’s very dog friendly which we really appreciated.

This was a fab place and we ended up staying an extra night. Barbara was so helpful, Sams mum and we loved the extra mile she went for us. Great stay, we will be back again, with our friends. Staying at Chris’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful experience. The home was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming — it was clear a lot of care had gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. But what made the stay truly memorable was Chris himself. From the beginning, his communication was warm, clear, and prompt. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. You can really tell when someone loves being a host — and Chris absolutely does. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking — do it. Great place to stay, spa was relaxing after a day of golf!

An absolute gem! Dwayne's home is beautiful, the views are amazing and it's incredibly private and quiet. The house is well maintained and has everything you need, we were there for 2 weeks and it was great! Dwayne was quick to respond to messages in the lead up to our booking, answered all our questions, and even met us at the house to give us a guided tour and detailed handover to ensure we were all set. He also checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The house is spacious and would be great for large groups, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern and clean (and theres lots of them!) Honestly couldn't have asked for a better property or host!

Mark, We all raved about your bach and had a fabulous time. We hired both big and small bach and accommodated all ages from 4 adults, 3 adult kids, 3 teenagers plus 1 dog It was hot and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend and it had everything we needed.

We stayed here with 12 friends for my husband’s 30th, and it was absolutely perfect. He loves native bush and birds, so this place was a dream. The house feels like a fairytale—spacious, warm, and beautifully designed. The kitchen is well-equipped and flows easily to the patio, where we barbecued and dined outdoors. There’s a handy kitchen window for passing food outside, and both indoor and outdoor tables made it easy to adapt to the weather. The property sits on 7 acres of native bush with walking tracks, birds like piwakawakas following us, and a magical glow worm walk at night. There's an outdoor fire area with couches, ambient lighting, and a speaker system that connects throughout the house and outside. It’s perfect for reconnecting with friends and nature. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and so grateful. Huge thanks to the hosts for the clear communication and thoughtful touches. If you're thinking of booking—do it. You won’t regret it.
