What a wonderful, peaceful oasis! The treehouse at the Shire is just incredible! The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. The grounds and property are just stunning. There are also trails and a trail map to adventure on the property. They also have a very sweet pup, Bo, who became best friends with my dogs (after a friendly introduction and me asking if he was free to play). I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Great location to hike and have a peaceful respite, but close to restaurants too! Also, LGBTQ+ friendly!

We had such a great time staying at Emily's awesome retreat. It was our first mini-vacation with our dog and we were looking for some peaceful, wide open space to let her roam free. We absolutely got that with this home and thoroughly enjoyed the town, as well. Emily was super responsive whenever we did have a question and provided us with a great list of places to check out around town. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Harmony cabin. It was super cozy and warm with a good fire going and we had space and the amenities to cook delicious meals and drink good coffee. The place was quiet and peaceful. We are used to roughing it so it really felt like a 5-star resort with lots of lovely little touches to make the cabin feel like home. The sauna was such a unique experience and we had so much fun. A bit expensive for a one-hour session but the NTN team was really flexible and responsive and made it work. We will definitely be coming back!

A wonderful cozy cabin as described. Comfortable couch, chairs and mattresses. A 5 minute hike down to the pond early in the morning resulted in recording 21 bird species on Cornell's merlin app! A scarlet tanager, ovenbird, many warblers, and flycatchers among others. If your looking for a tranquil, and nature immersive spot, this is it!!

I had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! It’s cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The view is beautiful. Perfect for relaxing and disconnecting for a bit. The host was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back!

Beautiful place. Lovely decorated. I would say that it is probably a little expensive for staying there in the winter/ fall time. Only one of us could sit on the couch at a time due to its location by the tv. The shower is really small and there is no room for toiletries in the bathroom at all. There is a rack but I had to keep all my bathroom stuff in bags the entire time because it is just lacking in space. I would think The price is worth it if you’re staying there in the summer and get to use the lake.

It was a great stay. The space had everything my fiancé and I needed for during a ski trip. The campground is so beautiful and has so many amenities. Thank you for hosting us!

This was the perfect little get away. Quite place to relax and unwind, but close to Main St and locale things to do.

A wonderful couple and cute shack under the stars! I really enjoyed my stay at the Shackhilton. Karen and Peter were very friendly and came out to help me get settled and kept me entertained with great banter. The place was very clean and cozy. I would definitely go back!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

We had a great stay at Kendra’s place. Enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the bed. Serene and rejuvenating.

Jeffrey’s place was perfect for our family. The home is peacefully secluded in the woods. It was immaculate and set up with everything we needed, including a welcome bottle of wine and a bag of local coffee! We really appreciated the baby gear too, a pack and play and high chair. We would absolutely love to stay again!

My friend and I stayed here for our annual ice fishing trip and this location was great with all the beautiful bodies of water surrounding! Close to a handful of easy access points for ice fishing or for open water fishing. The home itself is cute and lovely with everything you’d need.

A perfect, tranquil stay in the woods. Cozy and had everything we needed. The short walk to the beach was lovely. Would absolutely stay again!

Pamela was a great host. The cabin was just as pictured. Right on the songo locks. Nice place to stay. Could use some regular curtains over the blinds and over the sink ( we like to sleep in). And not used to having to clean the whole cabin before checking out. All in all it was a great trip. Thank you.

This is a sweet little cabin in the woods with the advantage of being in a private development. It is at the end of the road on a cul de sac so the plowing that comes with the homeowner fees likely is well worth it. Counterintuitively the house is also right next to the road and could easily have had a short driveway out to the road. It is very pet friendly here. There are dog food and water bowls provided. Just be aware the single bunk beds are on the first floor and your dog will not want to go up the spiral metal stair case to the second floor. This may be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on whether you share your bed with your dog. We had a great stay here. We slept very well in the loft and wold happily return again when we visit our daughter and her wife.

Off the grid enough to feel completely alone in the woods, but close enough to where you can get dinner or find other things to do with only a short drive. Highly recommend.

Lori was a wonderful host for our trip up to Maine. My girlfriend and I enjoyed doing yoga in the entrance room when it rained and a nice sunrise kayak trip out on the lake across the street. My in-laws stayed with us too and we all had great laughs together and enjoyed good food all weekend long.

My best friend and I absolutely loved staying at the tiny library for our relaxing book weekend away from our husbands and kids! It was so quiet and the hot tub was fabulous! House was so clean and Kari was so attentive the whole time! We will absolutely be going back!

Our stay in the dream cabin was lovely! it was clean and accomodating. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus. Very nice place to.inwind and relax while still being close to North Conway and things to do! Will definitely be on my list of places to go back to!
