I stayed at Mark's incredible chalet for 4 weeks, and I couldn't be happier with the unforgettable experience. The location is even beyond what's described: the view of the Alps and the Rhone valley is so glorious it'll leave you breathless on a daily basis. So many properties emphasize a great view, but this is one of those rare times when reality is even better! The chalet itself is situated in a very quiet area and the house is virtually soundproof. Even with all the windows open, you'll rarely hear anything but the birds and the breeze. The chalet is very clean and modern, and the kitchen is a special treat -- experienced cooks will love it, nothing is lacking. It's also close to almost everything in Crans-Montana. Mark is a fantastic host. He was quick to answer all my questions, gave me recommendations, and was very easy and reasonable. That's a huge plus for any traveler. Overall, this was a memorable trip, due in large part to one of the best properties you will EVER rent.

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

Absolutely loved it! We had an amazing week at the chalet. The place has such an authentic vibe, full of history and details. Great surroundings, spectacular hikes in the area straight from the chalet. We are definitely coming back, I can only imagine how great it is in the winter. Many thanks Olivier!

We stayed at Penny's for two and it was perfect! The mazot is so nice and beautiful. It is located by the road near the bus stop and is therefore very accessible. It is very quiet and was perfect for a retreat in nature. Penny advised us on the trails to take for hiking. In addition, there is a small stove and a BBQ that were ideal. We recommend it! Thank you Penny!

It is a lovely house with everything you need to enjoy the vacation. At the end of May/beginning of June, there is a view of snowy mountain peaks from the house and the terrace.

Very spacious house for us, a group of 8 adults. We each have our favorite spots inside the house or outside Jacuzzi or balcony watching the Matterhorn changing colors during the day. Taxi is able to drop us off at the lift to the house, so no train and dragging luggages required. Everything is perfect. We are so glad that we chose this house.

Beautiful chalet with all the amenities you could possibly need. The space is cosy and the kids adored the secret playroom. Shops, restaurants and access to ski slopes close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Very clean and updated chalet in great location. Very comfortable beds and linen. Cozy fireplace with kindling and plenty of wood. Full kitchen and solid dining table perfect to accommodate all guests. Heated floors throughout was a treat. Overall 10/10.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

Truly a perfect stay. My family and I spent our Christmas vacation in the cabin and especially enjoyed the morning views of the mountains, the fireplace, and the large kitchen. We hope to be back soon!

The house was very clean, modern & just over all amazing! The view was unbelievably beautiful, the pictures do not give it justice! If you’re considering this Airbnb, BOOK IT!

Very comfortable and welcoming house . Highlight was having the morning tea on the balcony and looking at snow peaked Alps . The house is very beautiful. Was surprised at 30C temperature in June at that altitude. A few pedestal fans may be an idea for the future.

The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

Beautiful environment, between the lake and a really beautiful massif. The cottage has a beautiful, large, very pleasant plot in good weather. As for the chalet itself, no surprises compared to the listing, except that the bedroom with the 2 single beds does not have a solid door. It is separated from the hallway by shutters, the frame being too narrow to install a door. It didn't bother us, but it surprised us.

The cottage is exceptional, very comfortable. We were greeted by Mrs. Bren who is a charming and friendly person. The only downside (and again) is that we came during the transitional season so few activities open at that time but it didn't spoil our pleasure. Anyway, I highly recommend it!!
