Beach and nature log cabin

A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. With the forest and meadows right nearby. Here you can hear the rooster crow, birds chirping and sometimes even the cows. If you're lucky, you'll see eagles in the sky. Close to swimming lakes, Loftahammar, Gamleby, Västervik, about an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World, Kolmården about 1 1/2 hours. The cottage is beautifully located between two small farms. There's also a small playhouse on the property. Also an outhouse if you want to use it. In the kitchen there is an iron stove and in the room a pipe stove.

Welcome to Skogshuset Solhaga! Here you can enjoy the tranquility, go on adventures in the forest and discover the typical Småland. The house, which is newly renovated and modernly decorated, is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the Småland archipelago. It offers all amenities and from the garden a path leads to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and a child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

There is exercise equipment, etc. Close to Västervik Loftahammar Vimmerby, Norrköping, Söderköping and Linköping You can get out into Tjust archipelago with boats from Västervik and Loftahammar It is about 65 km to Astrid Lindgren's World. Newly renovated fresh house with room for many.

Welcome to Gula Huset in Ukna! Newly renovated house with nice garden and close to both forest and lake. Located in the middle of Ukna, about 1 hour by car to Astrid Lindgren's World and 1.5 hours to Kolmården Zoo. Two bedrooms with a double bed and a smaller crawl space with a single bed are on the upper floor along with a toilet. Downstairs, there is a TV room with sofa bed, a living room with fireplace, toilet with shower, spacious kitchen and dining area. Perfect for families with children or larger groups!

Forest cottage with private jetty

For the true nature lover! Here you forget the time and feel alone in the world. You will be staying in a fully off-grid cottage on the lake with private jetty and fire pit. There is a hot outdoor shower and outdoor toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fire and refrigerator incl. freezer compartment. There is 1 double bed on a mezzanine. On the lake there is also a free rowboat and a barrel sauna that you can rent. For every 7 nights you get 1 sauna session for free. Last 100m not accessible by car!

You can take a short walk to buy eggs or locally produced apple cider directly from the neighboring farmer, visit cows, horses, chickens and watch deer. Cabin with luxury, birdsong and lovely nature

Gammelgården is located 5 km north of Finspång. The cottage is newly built in the old style with moon windows, crystal chandelier and luxurious bed linens. Lake view and dock down to Bysjön, we have a small rowing boat for guests. Borrow bicycles for wonderful bike rides and borrow golf clubs, Finspång has a 27-hole course with pay and play. We (Ingrid and Bill and the cats Tussilago and Pantufa) live on the farm in an old house from the 1750s with separate entrance and parking.

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.
