Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oulujärvi

The listing met expectations and even exceeded expectations with its comfort! It felt like coming home. A great place to stay with a larger group, for example, during a skiing trip to Tahkovuori.

The location was good and the place was clean. The host was helpful and responsive whenever needed.

The four of us spent a week at Mirva's. The house was very clean and cozy, in a quiet area of Oulu. Well-equipped kitchen, sauna and hot tub on the terrace are an undeniable plus. The beds are very comfortable. There is a bus stop 10 minutes from the house to go to the city center. Two small restaurants 15 minutes' walk away (pizzas and kebab). Mirva always responded promptly to our messages, not hesitating to provide the requested information. His warm welcome on the day of check-in was much appreciated. We therefore recommend this listing for a stay in Oulu!

A very pleasant stay in the fisherman's house, with the added bonus of beautiful northern lights. The accommodation is spacious, very clean, well-equipped and hosts are attentive and caring with travelers. Thank you!

A comfortably peaceful and welcoming home with maps and guides of the Kajaani area. All services within walking distance.

The week went smoothly. Ski-in/ski-out nearby, with the slopes within easy reach. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. There were two rooms in the loft👍, this was not shown in the photos.

The stay was great, the place was clean, everything you needed was in the kitchen and bathroom. Walking quickly to the center of Tahko, the shop and restaurants. It was easy to stay with a small child when we found the travel crib made ready. Recommended!

Tero's place matched the photos, nice decor, great view of the slopes, walkable to all activities and restaurants. Easy to check in and out, with good timings. We visited out of skiing season (early October) so it was deadly quiet in the area, very peaceful, but with that not a huge amount of open options. I'm sure in season it's a very lively place! Would well recommend this place for in-season for its location and out-of-season for its beauty and peacefulness. Only suggestions: Couple of furniture fixtures need correcting (tightening up) and could have an instruction manual to fire-place/sauna which may be useful for other tourists (I was with Finnish family so not a problem for us, but I could see some issues if English/European visitors were staying).

A clean and clever apartment with everything you need, only the biowaste trash was missing. The apartment is great for a couple or small group. Smooth communication with the renter. I would come again.

It's a lovely place and so atmospheric. I really liked the apartment and the decor. It was a good place, a shop, and a park right next door. Quiet place. Eve had thought of everything, including earplugs! A big recommendation for a one-night stop <3 and even though I was confused with the check-in, fortunately I was able to get help easily. Thanks!!

Comfortable little cottage. Very suitable for 2 people and a dog. If you want peace and independence, I recommend. The outdoor sauna was good. The hot water system only worked moderately, so there was no “hot” water.

A beautiful home in a great location. A family-friendly ensemble. The kitchen was well-equipped and the warm outdoor storage for sports equipment was really convenient. We found board games in the home that we played with the whole family throughout the week. It was easy to communicate with Lassi, and she responded quickly. We'd love to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful and modern cottage quite close to Vuokatti and sports activities there. Soili was really helpful and friendly in her communication. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Excellent, really happy to recommend to the following! It was a pleasure to come to a really tidy cottage (often there's a bit of it and I saw the cleanliness). Spacious living areas and an open kitchen and bedrooms separate, perfect for getting together and a little privacy for everyone. In addition, the couch nooks in the basement and the top made a little more space for teens. The house was super functional and stylish, with everything we needed, even board games and books. Antti responded to all messages very quickly, and all questions were helped. We'd love to go again.
