This is a wonderful place to stay! It’s off the main road and the neighborhood is very quiet. The rooms are nice, the two terraces are lovely..we had dinner on the top terrace under the stars! We were given a walking tour of the area surrounding the kasbah which was informative and interesting. Definitely recommend this listing.

We spent 3 nights at Mubarak's place. Our stay is full of surprises and sharing. The authenticity of the place is Mubarak's kind and warm welcome is a huge plus. Ibrahim and Mubarak made our stay at their place an exotic moment. Thanks again for the surprise. We will come back without hesitation.

We had an amazing time with Lahcen. We only regret one thing... having only booked one night. The place is beautiful, quiet, a view on the terrace as in the photos... The place has a soul! The evening meal was excellent... as was the breakfast... In short, the place is really great. But better than all that, there are the moments we shared. Before coming, consider asking Lahcen for advice on guided tours and go there without so much as a second thought. You will experience a moment of sharing, learning and taking in the sights. We left feeling emotional that night... We recommend it a thousand times. Thank you

Super nice cool guys. Mega evening with bonfire, homemade day and music. The 3 guys ( Lord of Music, Lord of Fire and English) are just great nice and likeable. Thank you Thank you for the city tour and the breakfast was also very tasty. Gruß Benedikt and Tamina

What a fabulous and beautiful spot! Abdou and his family are so friendly and kind , smiling! Their delicious food and Abdou makes us discover the palm grove, the old Kasbah during a walk explains us Moroccan life! Its garden is superb as well as the comfortable rooms, everything is well thought out! I'm already bored of them and their home! I would have stayed there for a quiet week without any problem! Thank you for your warm welcome!

Had a great stay here !! Beautiful place and such friendly hosts. Food was really lovely and we had a nice warm welcome. Very beautiful surroundings. Hosts were very helpful and got us a guide for the Atlas Mountains and organised us dinner and lunch! Highly recommended from two 21 year olds travelling Morocco!!

We had an amazing stay at Hassan! We received a very warm welcome. The peace and quiet in the relaxed atmosphere around the hotel was just what we needed. The hotel is centered around a beautiful swimming pool and the overall decoration of the patio and the rooms is amazing. The food is also very much recommended!

Brahim has been very friendly, open and cozy. Their hostel is located in the ancient village of Knob in their adobe family home that is renovated with taste and patience! We were prepared by the same excellent couscous. Let's have a quiet night in front of the oasis . In the morning the life of the village is activated and we saw the women washing the carpets in the river. It's been a very authentic experience!

Auberge Tissili is a beautiful place to stay, reasonably close to Ouarzazate, which really let's you enjoy a local experience without the bustle of the city. Mohamde, Abdu, and Abdeljalil are running a very comfortable auberge, with options for tents or rooms available. The tents are in a walled compound, so it's not very wild, but it does feel safe and comfortable. Abdu speaks French, Berber, Arabic, English, and probably a bunch of other languages too, so he was able to provide us with a lot of information about the area, and plenty of help when we needed it. Accessing Finnt is potentially a challenge, the road between Ouarzazate and there is unpaved, and the last part would be more sensible to use a 4x4, though you can park just outside the Oasis area and walk the last 1km in to town. Mohammed made some of the best food we encountered in Morocco. I'd strongly recommend at least having the breakfast, but consider other meals there. We spent a couple nights in Finnt, and it was well worth it. The (small) mountains nearby are great for a hike, so make sure you don't rush through here too fast. Strongly recommended, whether you're visiting in a small or big group.

Catherine and Pierre made us feel at home and took great care of us. Their place was beautiful and done up very thoughtfully. We loved our stay there.
