I rented one building and had a free stay. The sea was visible from the edge, which was very nice. I was able to ask the owner about the surrounding information and how to play in the sea.

Bright room in Shimanto

I will always remember my stay at Kazuko's place. She makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive, is always there to help you. In the morning, she cooked me delicious Japanese breakfast, and in the afternoon, she offered to take me for a ride around Shimanto, and we shared a meal together in the evening. I spent a lovely time there, her kindness and generosity as a host is just exceptional. The area of Shimanto town is also very peaceful and beautiful, I did the Gisha trail which is part of the Shikoku nature trail. it's a very nice and agreeable walk throughout the countryside of Shikoku, which I recommend ! I'll definitely recommend staying at Kazuko's place. Thank you again for everything! 😊

1st Floor Room, 20min walk to City

It was a very homey host and we had a pleasant stay. There were also sons of the same generation, so we had a pleasant time together, such as going to Hirome Market, playing cards, and our sons. It was also in a good location where you can walk to Hirome Market and Kochi Castle.I'd love to stay again when I go to Kochi.

GuestHouse Umeya, a home-type guest house (dormitory) where you can relax like at home

ElliRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was such a great place. I was worried at first because it’s not near any shops or restaurants, but the hosts provided so much food - instant meals and assortments of bread products, that I was quite ok. The place was d at I well stocked with everything you could need, even including ladies sanitary products, which I thought was very thoughtful. It was very clean and comfortable and peaceful. I would highly recommend this place!
