Teacher's apartment at the old school in Kaarnieme. Surface area 100 square meters. Three rooms and kitchen + toilet and shower. There is also a washing machine in the toilet area. There is a fireplace in the living room. The kitchen has an electric stove and a dishwasher. Kitchen cabinets and countertops renewed in 2020. Geothermal heating installed in 2019. High rooms. Pietetically renovated one-bedroom apartment (45m2) with a bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. Sunila is a unique forest suburb designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto. The apartment is in a terrace house without an elevator in Päivölä, which was completed in 1939. It's about 13km to the center of Kotka and about 3km to Karhula. The apartment has been renovated into as original as possible and is furnished on a circular economy basis, mainly with Fittings designed by Waves. We wash the textiles with odorless detergents.

The yard building, with its own yard and terrace, is located in a rural area along the Kymijoki River, in the beautiful landscape of Siikakoski. This cozy place is just a 5-minute drive to services. Massive logs and wooden surfaces bring atmosphere to the upstairs bedroom and living room. Downstairs there is a small but well-equipped kitchen and a small bathroom/toilet. The parking space is in front of the door. During the summer, guests have access to the host's beach, where there is a swimming opportunity.

The nearest shops are about 12 km away. The yard of the cottage can be reached by car all year round. No smoking and no pets indoors.
