Lake side house rentals in Otsego Lake

Very relaxing and comfortable lake side house. We were right on the lake with beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. Spent some time paddle boarding and kayaking. My husband is an avid bird watcher and enjoyed all the wildlife and especially the loons and ducks.

Our favorite place to go in New York. We love that the cabin has everything we need and is right on the lake. Our entire family enjoys this experience and look forward to coming back every year!!!

The house was comfortable and the water views were peaceful.

house is beautiful and worked great for our group of 11 (kids from small to big and 4 adults. The air mattresses and bunk beds worked well and the loft with ladder was big hit with the kids. We drove up in two electric cars so the outdoor outlets near the parking were a big help in getting some charge for driving around the area and getting back home. Fabio was super responsive to our questions and replied within minutes every time we asked anything which is extremely helpful in planning. We will definitely consider the house again for future trips.

I've stayed at a couple dozen AirBnB's over the years, but this most recent one, Jacqui's place on Spruce Lake, goes right to the top of my list of best AirBnB experiences. It has an amazing location, is wonderfully designed and decorated, pristinely clean and functional, but most of all, it has an indefinably cozy and peaceful vibe. A lovely retreat from the world, and a great place to hang out in front of a roaring fire ( it has a truly magnificent fireplace) with loved ones.

Absolutely loved this house, this lake and surrounding area. The house was ideal for us. We had a full house with 10 guests for our son’s wedding. Could not have been more perfect. Adults loved the house, spa and views. Grandkids fell in love with the lake and dock. (And pet carp!) Rich was very helpful with questions and left clear instructions (and wonderful stories) at the house. We talked about coming back even before we left. Cheers!

We had a very peaceful stay at Sleepy Loon cottage. Enjoyed the quietness and saw lots of loons, geese, ducks and even saw a beaver. It was cold and windy so didn't get to use kayaks as planned but still had a great time. Lori and Mark were great hosts. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place this is it! The cottage is exactly as pictured.

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi's place. The house was immaculate and it was a beautiful setting. Heidi was very responsive and thoughtful to all her guests needs. We will be back.

The house was very clean. The views are stunning. Only 15 mins from Cooperstown. Loved being right on the water. My family had a great time.

Guillermo’s property was exactly as advertised. Sits on a beautiful lake with picturesque surroundings and home itself is very comfortable. The place was immaculate and well supplied with amenities. Guillermo was a great host who recommended a local restaurant that turned it to be exactly what we were looking for. The home is about 20 minutes from Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Cooperstown is a cute community with GREAT local restaurants and shopping. We loved our lunch at Cooley’s and breakfast at Cooperstown Diner - it’s TINEY so the earlier you get there the better. Lastly, if you are a baseball fan, I can’t recommend the Hall of Fame enough! It was an amazing experience… One in which we would not hesitate to revisit.

Barbara’s peaceful cabin was absolutely gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful scenery and right next to the lake. The cabin is also only a short distance from the Lapland skiing center and therefore an ideal location for all cross country skiing fans. Barbara was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. We are hoping to come back in the summer

We were in town for a family memorial service and had not been to the area before. The house was great and the hosts left us good recommendations for the area. We ended up spending a lot of family time at the big kitchen table, hot tub and living area. Great family house.

We comfortably fit all 14 of us for our stay in this lovely home. The river it was on was a beautiful addition to the beautiful home. Host was very helpful and responsive when needed. Easy entrance into the home. Lots of space, and comfortable beds. we will definitely stay here again, and we will highly recommend this home to others staying in and around Oneonta or Cooperstown. We stayed Here for our daughters family weekend at SUNY Oneonta, it was the perfect location. Also very quiet n private as well. Thank you Host Gerald!!

The house was really well kept, designed and fitted with tons of fun activities. it sits on a gorgeous lake with incredible views! a few bugs of course as you’re so close to nature. marlaina was super responsive even when we had questions early in the morning. we loved staying here and hope we can again!

We had an amazing stay Sheera’s place.A cozy home,very open and we loved the nature views and sounds,relaxing place set out in nature.The house was clean and the lay out was perfect for our family winter getaway’s.We had everything we needed,the beds we’re comfortable,all amenities available and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances.We love that we were able to bring our beloved pups along with us.The best part was it’s 13 mins away from Bellearye which we all had a blast.We will definitely be back! One of the best Airbnbs I've stayed at. The house is amazing - spacious, cozy, ad each room had their own temperature control! Plenty of communal space and the kitchen was very functional. The hosts were so responsive and nice and even offered to mail a piece of clothing we had left at the house afterwards. Definitely would come back again and highly recommended.

Catherine’s place was great for our visit! Super close for Windham skiing although if you’re carrying all your gear and have kids you’re better off driving. Pool building was right out the back door but unfortunately the hot tub was broken so we didn’t bother going over. Had a few questions during our stay and Catherine was very quick to respond. The house was cozy and comfortable. Upstairs can get pretty warm and the air is pretty dry but after a day of skiing, we were out cold in the comfy king bed. If you’re visiting during the week, have some back up plans for restaurants and meals since a lot of places were closed (even when they were supposed to be open). Not a reflection of our stay at Catherine’s but it may be helpful to know! Would definitely rent this place again should we visit Windham.

My family's second visit to this beautiful gem overlooking the mountains and frozen pond. Our hosts are highly communicative and helpful. The description is accurate. Considering our 2nd visit and rebooked for 3rd in 2026 - this speaks volumes -- more than meets our needs, well stocked. We're looking forward to visiting during the summer months to further appreciate the views. Grateful to them for sharing their home with us.

first of all, Million Dollars view. You have beautiful mountain right in front of this property. I stayed at this place for a weekend get together with family, and wished we had stayed longer. The place came equipped with all the pots and pans you'd expect from AB&B plus coffee maker and pods. we enjoyed their collection of movies. There are grocery stores within minutes from this place and nice restaurants a short drive. we also enjoyed nearby hiking trails. overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back.

We just finished a two month rental of John’s wonderful home. Our family of 5 used the home primarily on the weekends when we were enjoying ski season at Belleayre Mountain. I can’t say enough great things about this home. Our family felt totally at home - every aspect was perfectly maintained and the home maximized comfort. Our favorite part of the home was the great room where we would watch movies on the huge family sofa in front of a crackling fire. It was the perfect way to end a day of skiing. Our kids loved the downstairs family room with the foosball table and there were lots of games to play and keep everyone busy and entertained. And the kitchen is huge and very well stocked with all the appliances you will ever need. So it was a fantastic 2 months and we look forward to renting this property again!

Absolutely wonderful Airbnb for a large group. The house is gorgeous, clean, grounds well kept, and provided a safe and solid place for our very large group. The host was very responsive, kind, and available. Highly recommend!
