Vacation rentals with lake access in Otsego County

Mason was responsive and helpful. The cabin was close to many necessities and only a short drive to Cooperstown (about 30 minutes) while still being very quiet and peaceful. We really loved the covered porch and beautiful natural surroundings. We even saw a Bald Eagle!

Noah’s place was very comfortable and we enjoyed our weekend during a snow storm. We loved both fireplace, specially the wood stove which kept the entire house in 70s throughout the freezing weekend. He had plenty of wood for the fireplace and also arranged the driveway to be plowed after the storm. There are some small stores and gas stations with in 10-15 min drive from home but bigger towns are about 30 min drive. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Scotty’s place! He was an incredible host — extremely accommodating, especially for baseball families like ours. The house was perfect: clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the necessary amenities. The location couldn’t have been better, just a quick 10-minute drive to Dreams Park. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Scotty’s communication throughout our stay was top-notch — responsive, friendly, and helpful every step of the way. An extra special bonus was meeting Shug, the gentle giant, who made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Scotty!

We comfortably fit all 14 of us for our stay in this lovely home. The river it was on was a beautiful addition to the beautiful home. Host was very helpful and responsive when needed. Easy entrance into the home. Lots of space, and comfortable beds. we will definitely stay here again, and we will highly recommend this home to others staying in and around Oneonta or Cooperstown. We stayed Here for our daughters family weekend at SUNY Oneonta, it was the perfect location. Also very quiet n private as well. Thank you Host Gerald!!

What a lovely house and property! We stayed while my son was playing in the CDP tournament and I only wish we’d gotten to spend more time enjoying the house. It’s a quick and easy drive to the park and downtown Cooperstown with several good restaurants nearby. The house is just the right amount of updated while keeping all the old home charm and beautiful details! The surroundings are beautiful with wildlife and the lake steps away. The property managers were extremely responsive and quick to fix any issues we had. Very highly recommend this wonderful home for your stay!

Arthur's place is one of the nicest Airbnb's we've ever stayed. The house is incredibly cozy on a quiet road, not too far from downtown Cooperstown. While the house gives a cozy cottage feel, the updated kitchen and bathroom make for a luxurious vacation.

This is a lovely place to stay while visiting Cooperstown! Home is comfortable and homey with a lot of privacy. Beautiful views and very quiet and peaceful at night. This is a great option if your child is playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park. It is only a 10 minute drive to the fields and there are plenty of local restaurants within a 10 minute drive as well as two grocery stores. Nicely stocked kitchen made preparing food at home easy. Owners are responsive and helpful.

Lucy was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and always available to answer our questions. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with all the comforts of home. Nestled in a serene setting, the property offered a peaceful retreat with a charming yard where our grandkids enjoyed playing lawn games. We especially loved kayaking on the nearby lake and watching the local wildlife. Our stay at the lake house was truly memorable—a perfect vacation in every way.

Our stay was great! Our son was playing at Cooperstown Dream Park and it was an easy drive to and from. The space itself exceeded our expectations by far. The apartment was so gorgeous, very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the week. Beds were quite comfortable, laundry accommodations were nice and very appreciated. The scenery was serene and beautiful. Downtown Oneonta was nice to walk around and check out local spots. George was a great host who you can tell takes pride in his place and service. 10/10 recommend!

Bernhard was extremely friendly and responsive host. Place was very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Bernhard made sure we were very comfortable and if we needed anything he was very helpful. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and Baseball Hall of Fame. We were there for our son's tournaments at Cooperstown Dreams Park which is about 10 minutes drive which was extremely convenient. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

#3 at Trout Brook. Was perfect. Tom met us and gave us thorough instructions and told us where the best places to go eat were. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals.

Francine and Vince were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and provided many suggestions for local places to visit. The location was perfect for us since we were in town to watch our son play baseball. We were close to both All-Star Village and Dreams, which was perfect. The lake was also beautiful. My husband and I had a great time during our stay.

Our host was very responsive, responded to texts immediately, met up with us when it was convenient to explain everything we needed to know. Very friendly. The commute to the Dreams Park was easy but took 30 minutes (for those staying for the Baseball tournament). Plenty of places nearby to get food. Everything was there at the home that we could think of that we needed except laundry detergent. I left the one I purchased so hopefully the next guests pay it forward. The only slight complain I could even have and it’s not even a complaint but more if a heads up, the AC in upstairs room had a very dirty filter. We removed the filter and then AC worked great. There were also a ton of spiders which is to be expected being right next to lake but maybe the cleaners could do a once over sweep of the spiders each week before new guests arrive. Our kids had a blast with all of the kayaks and we loved that all the xtra water amenities were provided. 4.98 stars out of 5 for me!

We loved our stay here! The apartment was very clean and updated and the rooms all stayed cool even when hot out. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great week!

This place far exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. Interior and exterior are beautiful,clean and very well maintained. Hosts were very responsive,gave great recommendations and treated us like family. 10 out of 10 from me and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Amazing hosts that know what they are doing.

Loved this beautiful lake view home! My family was extremely comfortable there and the host was amazing. She communicated often and even gave recommendations of lots of things to do and restaurants. If you’re in that area a must stay! Thank you for making our stay so special!

The cottage was amazing: clean, solid construction, great water pressure and an overall beautiful home. We utilized the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards as well as the fire pit and gas grill. The beds were very comfy and there were plenty of blankets.

Once again, we had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage on Goodyear Lake. If you need a place to stay in the Oneonta / Cooperstown region, I would highly recommend this place!

Erin’s home was perfect for my family’s stay. The home is right on lake otsego and the living room has beautiful views of the lake. Her home is clean and spacious. The lake access via the dock is perfect. My family and I will rent Erin’s home the next time we’re in town.

Wesley’s place was great! This was probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Wes was a fantastic host. I appreciate all the attention to detail.

We had a wonderful time at the lake, despite the rainy weather! We had fun fishing & playing board games in front of a warm fire. We'd love to return!

We had a great stay on the Lake. The view in the morning is the best part of the upstairs bedroom.

A whimsical stay in the most heavenly fairy cottage in the forest. It is a beautifully curated space with treasures from all over the world poetically weaved throughout. Very comfortable and what was most thrilling was swimming in the pond in the rain!
