Get back to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet of our country getaway in the historic "Little Red School House", just 30 minutes inland from Oamaru. Our B & B is located on our 940 hectare family farm which we run sheep and beef cattle on. The farm is situated over 400m above sea level so has panoramic country views. An early morning or evening walk is amazing for taking in the sunrise or sunset. We are happy to pick up people travelling on the Alps to Ocean Trial. Breakfast included.

Spacious, comfortable and modern 1 bedroom unit with ensuite. A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Unit A5, Waitaki Lakes Apartments is a one bedroom fully serviced apartment in idyllic surroundings on the edge of the Otematata Golf Course with the Alps2Ocean cycle trail, walking trails and wetland areas nearby. The apartment has been refurbished with a new kitchenette & bathroom, double glazing and interior upgrade. Please note that I am not on site but please message anytime if you have any queries or need anything. This is our holiday home so please be mindful of this.

It is a great base to explore Tekapo, Twizel, Mount Cook , clay cliffs at Omarama and the Coastal town of Oamaru . It is also on the A20 cycle trail . My Apartment is a golfers paradise and has an outdoor eating area and Sky T V. But no WiFi.
