The white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and other features have been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization).Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three gardens: a front garden, a courtyard, and a back garden. Kominka in Miyajima that warms the heart

Guest House Kokoro is located one block from Miyajima's Machiya-dori Street. 　When you pass through the warm curtain at the entrance, you are guided to the courtyard by stepping stones, with bamboo walls reminiscent of a Kyoto row house restaurant. The courtyard is also beautifully balanced with white marble and gravel, contributing to the calm atmosphere. There are glass doors in the living room that allow you to see the courtyard. 　The building is only for guests to stay in through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone. From the outside, it is an ordinary private house, but when you step inside, it has a different atmosphere, which is part of the charm of the inn. I heard that the previous owner has always loved gardening and had a wide range of hobbies. However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't intend to start an inn at first, so there is no bath facility (there is a shower). However, you can use the nearby inns as an outdoor bath. The first floor is a living room, and the second floor is a two-room Japanese-style bedroom, and up to 6 people can stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a white stone character "kokoro" (heart) inscribed in the gravel. It was made by the gardener a long time ago for fun, and it is the origin of the name of the inn. He said he wants to welcome people with all his heart and help them relax and enjoy their stay.

There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.
