This quirky beach side A frame that has recently been renovated is well appointed. Wonderful outdoor furniture, double BBQ, great fire, dishwasher, washing machine, and only steps from the sea. Perfect for families in the summer or a romantic getaway for a couple in the winter. The view from your bed upstairs is just a gorgeous sea ! In the summer, throw all the kids together in the one room, and parents are upstairs in their own rooms. Sorry, not suitable for under 5 because of the stairs.

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.

The place is great, nice and quiet for a weekend getaway. Access to the beach is good if you’re going for a walk or swim. In terms of fishing, it’s not the best location to surf cast and there is no public access to the beach for launching boats. Diving for Pāua and Crayfish is great if you’re there when it’s calm. Driving to Flat Point is quite rough on your vehicle going through the gravel roads so take extra care.

We had a lovely stay at Lucinda’s Lulu’s Cottage! The place was cozy, peaceful, and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Lucinda came by to have a friendly chat when we arrived, which made us feel very welcome. Everything was clean and well set up, and we truly enjoyed the charm of the cottage and the beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!
