The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. The house is located in a quiet residential area, at the end of a closed road. Close to forest, water, city and highway access and exit. Only 10 km to Knuthenborg Safari Park and 5 km to Krenkerup Estate with Brewery-Tractor Museum. Only 24 km to the Crocodile Zoo and 30 km to the Fehmarn Belt Tunnel. We live 45 km from the southernmost point in Denmark, Sydstenen in Gedser. Stone sculptures with music Dodekalitten in Kragenæs just 27 km away, where there is also the possibility to take the ferries to the islands of Fejø, Femø and Askø.

Tiny house in the orchard

We have spent a long time renovating our little wooden house with upcycled building materials, decorated it with heirlooms and flea finds, and are now ready to have guests visit. The house is located in our orchard, close to nature, forests, good beaches, medieval villages, Fuglsang Art Museum and far from noise - with the exception of our quails and free-range silkie chickens, which may well go crazy once in a while. The house is 24 sqm in size, and also has a loft with enough beds for four people.
