Bungalow vacation rentals in Osa

Wir sind kurzentschlossen auf der Suche nach dem authentischen CR unserem Gefühl gefolgt. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Anfahrt war spektakulär aber mit dem Allrad Jeep machbar, incl der Flussdurchfahrungen. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes aufmerksam und unaufdringlich behandelt . Die Lage ist ein Traum und wir fanden die Tage dort waren unsere schönsten in CR.

Ein wunderschöner, naturnaher Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig mit privatem Strand – perfekt zum Entspannen und Natur erleben. Wir haben viele Papageien gesehen und ein nahegelegenes, unscheinbares Restaurant bietet überraschend gutes Essen. Ein 4×4 Geländewagen ist für die ca. 40-minütige Schotterstraße zur Unterkunft absolut notwendig. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber, hat alles Wichtige (kaltes Wasser, Ventilator, Strom bis ca. 22 Uhr). Es gibt keine Fenster, dafür aber überall Fliegengitter und Gardinen – also gut geschützt. Nachts kann es im Zimmer warm werden. Aaron, der Manager der Unterkunft, war sehr freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns eine romantische Sunset Kanutour organisiert. Frühstück war lecker und wurde bei Bedarf auch sehr früh serviert, z. B. vor unserer Corcovado-Tour. Ideal für Naturliebhaber! Wer hohen Komfort erwartet, sollte sich auf das Abenteuer einstellen oder nur 1–2 Nächte bleiben. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter!

Kim and Rene are amazing hosts, they are super friendly people. The house is equipped with all necessary stuff to do your vacations a success. I'd definitely come back. Extremely recommended!

We had some trouble locating/accessing Samuel’s place due to the fact that we drove and instructions were unclear. And even though we knew there were rivers to cross, it had rained that day and it was WAY scarier than we expected! Beyond that, Samuels place was great. We loved the accessibility to the beach which was AMAZING and almost always empty!It was unbelievably gorgeous and catching the boats to our tours from the beach was awesome! The restaurant on site is the only option for food due to the remote location. The food was very good and reasonably priced ($12 per meal). You just pay at the end before checking out, very convenient. Samuel was quick to respond to anything we needed and help us solve a couple issues!

Wir waren zwei Nächte bei Johanna und Manuel und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Alles ist wie beschrieben und gut ausgestattet, die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und ist in 10 min zu Fuß vom Strand erreichbar. Manuel hat uns sehr kurzfristig (in der Hochsaison) eine Tour in den Nationalpark organisiert und war dabei sogar unser Guide. Man spürt, wie sehr er diesen Beruf und den Nationalpark liebt und wir haben wirklich viele Tiere gesehen und viel gelernt.

Dolphin Quest is a magical place. The location, combining jungle and ocean, is incredible. I spent three nights in Casa Jungla, a shared cabin that is simply beautiful. I spent hours on the balcony, looking at the trees and watching birds, monkeys, and other wildlife pass by (hi, anteater!). And then there's the food—wow. Fresh, locally grown, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The staff, owners, and volunteers are all lovely people who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's hard to put the experience of staying at Dolphin Quest into words, so just book your stay and see for yourself - you won’t regret it!

We loved staying here. The surroundings are beautiful, it’s a perfect spot for bird watching. The place is just as pictured, super clean and feels private. It’s less than 5 minutes to the beach and 10 to a supermarket. Can’t recommend more.

Casa Namaste was an incredible place to spend my vacation near Uvita. The property is surrounded by the jungle and lush with vegetation and animals everywhere you turn. The views are incredible! This home is located off the beaten path but only 15 minutes away from downtown Uvita. The drive down to town is also very beautiful. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is needed to reach the home. The home was cozy and had everything I needed to cook and feel comfortable there for a week. I also thoroughly enjoyed the pool! If you're looking for a secluded home to enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature, Casa Namaste will not disappoint. The host was also wonderful – they were responsive, friendly, and made it easy to check-in and check-out. They provided recommendations and were very accommodating. Thank you! It was difficult to leave this beautiful place.

I really enjoyed staying here. Nathalia was very friendly and shared lots of information about the area. It is just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and National Park. The huts are very basic but have all you need and by the pool you are always able to meet nice people, weich is esp. nice when traveling alone. I will definitely come back when in Uvita🙂

If I could give this place a thousands stars, I would. We travel a lot and this is on our list of most special places we’ve visited. Susan and Carlos are great. The house is very comfy (great bed, which is rarely to case in CR) and clean, but the property is the real star. The restaurant, bar (best mojito ever) and beach are a short walk away. The path is well made and easy to traverse while also maintaining the integrity of the jungle. The people are so inviting and accommodating and kind. You feel safe and at peace. We will be coming back often.

Our host was great! He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed from day one. Our location was very convenient. It is centrally located between Dominical Beach and San Isidro. And walking distance to Nauyaca Waterfalls. Nature surrounds this beautiful jungle park like destination. Every morning/day we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and butterflies! There are an amazing variety of birds to watch! Some days we got glimpses of the Agouti and the turkey-looking black birds with bright yellow beaks walking through. And the nature sounds were music to our ears! We took advantage of the lemon trees too! The private outdoor space was perfect for us and we used it daily, rain or shine. We were provided a carport for parking. The property is gated and safe.

Todd & Jill were fantastic, going above and beyond the call of duty! Responsive & attentive, considerate & accomodating, & just good ol' fashion nice people! They helped us with navigating our way to their beautiful & peaceful property in the jungle mountains! They blessed us and shared with us fruit from the crazy variety of things growing on their land! The view from the main bedroom and the front porch that you wake up to every morning is breath taking! We hiked & swam in the gorgeous stream and river that borders each side of the house! Todd & Jill both have an incredible love for people & their well being & are extremely knowledgeable about many things including food and whats really going on in the world! We were blessed to have a handful of conversations with them! We cant even truly begin to capture the essence in this write up of how amazing a visit to Todd & Jills really is! Casa Bosque is a magical place with the most rewarding views of the ocean and forest. The balcony is prefect for birdwatching. We also spotted an iguana and a pair of agoutis in the garden. Our hosts were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Drake Bay is a perfect location for spotting wildlife and is very close to Corcovado.

The bungalow we stayed in was very well designed for the climate of Costa Rica. The wood paneled high ceilings with ventilation at the top kept the temperature comfortable with the help of fans. The beauty of the grounds and vegetation as well as the rain forest nearby meant there were many birds. The property is just off the road near the center of Uvita, making it both quiet and convenient. Pamela and Dave were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, spacious and attractive. We enjoyed the dipping pool. The fully equipped kitchen and living room had a number of nice personal touches. I especially liked the coffee chorreador and the bird identification book. All around this spot was a great fir for us and we will assuredly return!

Melissas gem in the Jungle was amazing. I got to hang out in the jungle for 13 days and it was peaceful, relaxing and just right down exciting. Melissa’s home is so amazing, clean and new, her kitchen was amazing as it’s basically outdoors and well equiped. While I was making my breakfast , I was watching the birds fly around, and listening to the Howler monkeys. Mellisa is building a pool in the backyard along with a large deck, I cant wait to return to dive in. Melissa and Andy were extremely friendly and attentive, they definitely have the gift of hospitality. I will definitely return soon
