Vacation rentals in Orton Northgate

We attended a weekend training course at Ogilvie Dogs and so stayed at Isla Cottage for 2 nights. This was on site and so was the perfect location. The cottage was beautifully decorated and comfortable, especially the bed. It was well stocked with different supplies like tea/coffee, shampoo, hairdryer, dog towels, blankets and even down to sanitary products. The shower was great and all the appliances were as well. There’s a washer dryer which is super handy if needed. You can hear next door but this wasn’t an issue as everybody was respectful. We had access to the field and really enjoyed using this with our dog. It’s very well kept and a great bonus to the cottage.

A lovely home from home cottage with all amenities you'll ever need. Even provided stairs gates and a high chair upon request. Great location to explore the area and having a pub within 1 minute walk is a bonus!

We had a lovely stay at the Hobbit. The hut is lovely, cozy, well looked after and clean. Amy is very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our experience at the Hobbit and will definitely be back in the future. Recommended

We had the most wonderful stay. The garden is absolutely amazing. If you have little ones, this place is the one! Adam was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. The house was super clean, everything was so easy to work/find. We would hesitate to stay here again. Brilliant value for money, we had the best time. Thank you again Adam and Hannah.

Puddle Cottage - what a beautiful, cosy place to stay, within walking distance to Rutland Water. On arrival communication from Anna was excellent, and we were able to check in early, and there was a lovely welcome gift of Wine, cakes and milk too. The cottage is just great, Anna has made it feel like it is your own home, with so many home comforts, comfy furniture and bed, decent TV, a fully stocked kitchen, with lots of pots, pans, utensils and crockery, no skimping at all. Everything stands out a good quality - which is so nice when you are away from home. We stayed with our black Labrador and he was also happy, with a secure garden for him (and some doggy treats from Anna). We did lots of walks around the lovely friendly village, and around Rutland Water, and also had a fab dinner one evening at The Fox, North Luffenham. We would come back again and would thoroughly recommend Puddle Cottage.

The accommodation was perfectly placed to explore Buckden on foot. The owners were really approachable and friendly and had lots of recommendations of great restaurants and things to do nearby. The accommodation was exactly as described. Plenty of room for two people. We both slept really well and awoke to beautiful birdsong in the morning. Very peaceful. Thanks so much. Liz and Jim

We would highly recommend this wonderful little find. Shame we didn’t come later in the year as we’ve missed out on the goats! Thank you so much!

Our first experience using Air BnB and Topiary Barn did not disappoint!! It was everything and more that we needed for our stay. The private garden area was a bonus and perfect for our morning coffee. We are already planning to stay again!

Me and my friend needed to find somewhere to stay for our filming trip and Maggies was the right place, it was the nicest affordable place especially for two uni students. Maggie is very nice and was very flexible for us as we needed to stay a couple more nights for our trip and she was understanding and let us stay. Would definitely stay again :)
