The Burrows, coastal luxury with incredible views

Welcome to The Burrows, a 1860's stone cottage we have sensitively reimagined & restored, opening it up to take in the ever changing view over Freycinet peninsula. A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa, armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Both bedrooms have amazing views over the water & our intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards

Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Centrally located within the Tasman Peninsula it's a short drive to everything on offer. Simple, thoughtful and very much loved, full of light, laughter and our love of the sea. Ocean front with views of Park Beach and Frederick Henry Bay from both the inside and outside of the shack. Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. A slower way of life just happens here x

‘The Lady’ Primrose Sands

The Lady is a colourful waterside haven inspired by the cosy hotels of the British seaside. Sink into the velvet antique sofa and let the view carry you away. The cedar tub is hot and ready for your arrival, with the Tasman Peninsula in the distance. Once a rustic fishing shack, The Lady has been reborn with comfort and character as the guiding ideals. Pattern and colour have brought her to life and made a once boring white box into an enchanting haven for two.

Spring Beach Cottage

Private cottage 100 metres from the white sand of Spring Beach, on a large block in a bush setting with beautiful views of the beach, Maria Island and the Triabunna lighthouse. Birds are in abundance and there is also a resident echidna. There is a surcharge of $30 for one night only bookings. ALL PROFITS ARE DONATED TO CHARITY (tariffs less out of pocket expenses, see receipts in visitors' book)

Sunways Orford

Formally known as Millingtons House, Sunways is a stone’s throw from the riverside and five minutes from the ocean. The house captures daylight from every compass point in spacious rooms that still have a lot of their original features. Sunways can host 4 guests across two spacious queen bedrooms and one shared bathroom. We welcome pets but request they must strictly remain off all furniture.
