Vacation rentals with beach access in Ōpōtiki District

What a gorgeous Airbnb right across the street from a beautiful beach in Waihau bay! The deck and giant windows open right to the ocean. Its a few kilometers from the Waihau Bay Lodge and store where scenes from "Boy" were filmed and friends and I got to practice our Chardonnay eye rolls. There's no cell service on my spark mobile plan, but the wifi at the AirBnB works great. Airbnb gave me coordinates that were about a kilometer away from the actual home, so I got the proper address from Meagan beforehand and was able to check in seamlessly. Thanks Meagan!

A tranquil hidden gem. Enjoyed the back garden with tui and kereru swooping overhead in the morning and warm sunshine in the afternoon. A lovely host who helped when needed then left us be. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would love to come back to explore the region further.

Beautiful stay, the place & view is absolutely stunning We throughly enjoyed our time spent there and have recommended it to everyone The basket of children’s toys under the tv was a hit with our grandson, just that little touch of home made it so special for him Stepping out & across the road to do a spot of fishing was amazing for my husband Then eating oysters off the rocks & swimming & snorkeling and watching our grandson building sand castles in the creamy white sand was special A place where beautiful memories are made Thank you Meagan for sharing your beautiful little bit of paradise with us

We had a large group of travellers from the North and South Islands which made travel logistics as expected interesting. Knowing that we had the accommodation sorted at our destination was a relief. Kevin ensured that we had all the information that we required to make the most of our stay in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The property had all the space and amenities that we required.

The East Cape community is a special part of Aotearoa NZ. SH35 is a beautiful road to cruise, with great scenery everywhere. Ellie's place is exceptional even by these standards. She's part of a hard-working young family so there's other stuff going on from time to time but that enhances your stay. A terrific Kiwi experience.

Was ideally located for us for a family event at Ohope Beach. Amazing Ohope beach is just across the road, and the Wharf and Store/Cafe are easily walkable. The house has a really relaxed beach vibe with a fantastic deck to enjoy. Place was clean and tidy - really clean and fresh linen and well stocked kitchen. Weather was sensational - after a couple of nights really felt like we’d had a holiday. Thanks…

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Darryl and Beths cottage. The cottage itself is so lovely for a getaway to relax; with everything you might need to cook with, it was spotless, beautifully furnished and decorated, and the size perfectly suited our family stay. The location is stunning, across the road to the beach or down the driveway to the harbor, and the general store, playground, wharf etc is a short walk away. Darryl is happy to give local advice. Came home very relaxed and happy. Awesome hosts, thank you!

We were lucky to be on holiday at the same time as our hosts, who generously treated us with some crays!! Perfect spot, clean warm welcoming home. Ben & Julie are awesome. Definitely recommend :)

Absolutely the best Airbnb stay I've had. if we could give it a 6/5 stars we would. The house is impeccable, amenities fully stocked, and everything you want from a peaceful location in SH35. waterfront views, surrounded by peaceful nature, it was serene.
