A short 3 min drive to amazing swimming holes and only 5 mins to pristine rainforest walks. 10 minutes up the hill to Eungella National Park which is the best known spot in the world to see a Platypus. The main room features a comfortable queen bed, a Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a few other appliances. Through the french doors your find a small outdoor cooking station, sink and a bar. A few metres further into the heart of the garden you have your own cute little pergola with a table for two.

My place is close to great views and plenty of wildlife. It is great for romantic getaways or exploring the rainforest to see birds, platypus in the creek at Broken River or just to hang out. The name "Eungella" means "land of cloud" so when you wake up in the morning you will likely be surrounded by thick cooling cloud which clears by about 9am to a beautiful sunny day with the wildlife just waiting to be discovered! Eungella is over an hour from Mackay.

Lovely clean comfortable place and friendly hosts. No offstreet parking but it is an easy walk across the lawn well lit to the unit out the back of a young family’s home. We were not disturbed at all by the hosts on our midweek stay. Supermarket and botanical gardens a short walk away. Would happily stay again.

Sara provided me a really nice accommodation. Everything in the room is clean and organised. Nice location in Mackay as well. I will be living here again and recommend it to my friends in the future.

We have stayed at Jen's several times. It is convenient and consistently clean and comfortable. We arrived earlier than usual and enjoyed wine and cheese on the back patio. The yard is well fenced and our dog, Harley, had a good sniff around. We will be back.
