Sleep under the stars on a 111 acre farm. This rustic experience allows you to live off-grid and among nature. There are a number of trails and outdoor areas to explore as well as a number of close-by amenities within a 5 minute drive including 2 ski resorts. If you really want to indulge, we are also just a 20min drive to the Thermëa spa by Nordik. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to not require a long travel commitment, this place is a great way to relax and unwind.

Fish's Yurt - Romantic Luxury Escape

This traditional four season Mongolian Yurt features it’s own bathroom, kitchen, living area and queen size bed. It is heated with a thermostatically controlled fireplace. We are located four hours north of Toronto in one of the most beautiful areas of Ontario, Almaguin Highlands between Killarney Provincial Park, Grundy Provincial Park, Restoule Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park. Fish's Yurt is located on Seagull Lake, a short 10 minute stroll down a private trail to the lake.

Quiet Retreat for Two

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Salmon River Wilderness Camp: Yurt & 300 acres

Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Rejuvenate with a swim, go paddling in a canoe at your doorstep, and hike in the rolling landscape of forests, granite and clean water. Centrally located between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, we're also near Puzzle Lake Provincial Park and the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area.

Eco-yurt riverfront, soaker tub, secluded, private

This is a romantic getaway for two on the banks of the Tay, 10 minutes West of Perth, Ontario. Secluded and quiet with private swimming access to the river where it slows and flows over a large flat rock bed. Fully solar, this 20 foot diameter yurt has a queen bed, 3 piece bathroom, propane “wood” stove, T.V. and Starlink wifi access and fully stocked kitchen with coffee and tea service with a Keurig or bodom. Off season and winter rental is available without running water. (see below)

Close to Algonquin Park, Arrowhead Provincial Park and central to many beautiful walking/ATV/Cycle/cross country skiing and Sledding trails. We are situated across from The Magnetawan river- great for fishing, and just 5 minutes from the public beach, boat launch and dock. The yurt is located on our 200 acre biodynamic farm in beautiful West Grey. Guest are welcome to walk around the property and enjoy being in nature. A cozy insulated space available all year round. This accommodation is rustic with outhouse (composting toilets), outdoor showers and wash basin. Farm experience is also available. Snowshoeing or skiing trail are nearby or on the farm. The Spa (hot tub and sauna) is available for private bookings for additional fee.
