Mansion vacation rentals in One Mile Beach

Beautiful house perfect for a large group! Bedrooms were well sized so great for couples and for friends sharing beds. The furniture, kitchen &, bathrooms plus sheets, towels etc were high quality and felt lux (which is great when you’re spending more money collectively). The house was well designed to fit a large group so that the living spaces could house us all as a group but the bedrooms were separated enough for privacy and sleeping. Large kitchen especially the island makes for easy prep even with a large group. The 4 car garage was FANTASTIC as we could all park easily (with big 4WDs) despite it being on a main road. Located in the middle of both Nelson and Shoal Bay so well situated. Lee was quick to respond to questions but also on the ball with sending check in information which made check in seamless. 10/10 recommend for a group holiday and would rebook!

Everything great except we were told that there was an issue with the hot tub which they left us some beers and adjusted our check out, which we appreciated! Lovely place!

Excellent home for our family gathering. Sally is a generous host with a few nice surprises in addition to the basic staples. Very well laid out accommodation and the pool area was a real bonus. Lovely modern beach style decor in keeping with the location close to the ocean. Highly recommend.

Such a unique house. Plenty of space, walking distance to the ferry into Newcastle CBD and the beach. Host was flexible with earlier check in and later check out but I guess that depends on bookings before and after.

We had a great time staying at Lisa’s place, definitely a must if you are looking to disconnect from the busy life.

Bryony’s place is just magical. It had everything we needed and more. The view and the wrap around verandah were what stood out for us. Having small people, it meant they were safe when they were playing outside, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the little things we didn’t have to pack such as oils, coffee, dishwashing tablets and shampoo etc. The house was extremely comfortable for a large party of 9 as we were able to retreat to different areas of the house when needed. It would be even better if there was a vacuum and a mop so that we could adequately clean up after ourselves. We had the most enjoyable time and hope to book again.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Nelson Bay! The location is absolutely perfect – just a 15-minute walk to the marina and a short drive to all the main attractions in the area. The house itself was spacious, modern, and exceptionally well-equipped, offering great value for our group of 14. The heated pool was a standout feature – perfectly maintained with just the right amount of chlorine, making it a delightful spot to relax and unwind. Brian and Sue were phenomenal hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even welcomed us with two bottles of wine – such a thoughtful touch! The amenities were modern and well-kept, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience for everyone. This property truly exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Nice to stay in good and comfy property

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, had a beautiful view, and offered plenty of space for us and our dogs to relax. It was great to find a spot that was truly dog-friendly—our dogs felt right at home. The backyard was secure, and there were lovely walks nearby. Carly and Katie were friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for anyone travelling with pets!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this absolutely stunning home. Check in was easy. The house is really clean and there is all of the essential items needed for self service living. Andrew the host is amazing! Always so quick to respond and was really helpful throughout our entire stay at his home. I highly recommend this place to stay if you are needing a quiet getaway. The lake is a lovely short walk away and the local shopping complex is a few minutes drive. Ideal location, luxurious home and friendly host all in one!

Sabina and Jeff's place was nothing short of amazing. I stayed there with my husband and group of friends 13 adults and 1 toddler. We loved how upstairs and downstairs are completely self contained. There was a door at the top of the stairs that we could lock so the little one wouldn't hurt himself on the stairs. The pool, tramp and spa were added bonuses and well used. Sabina's communication was fast and thorough. Would 1000% recommend Sabina and Jeff's place. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
