Hiroshima, Mihara Guest House

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the nicest accommodations I have stayed at yet. We would have loved to stay there longer, but had other plans unfortunately. The host is incredibly supportive and helpful. We were even able to come one day earlier than we had (mistakenly) booked. I fully recommend staying here.

Modern Japanese House, with Big Family & Friends

YasuoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Two families with children, a total of 9 people, stayed.Although it was a few facilities that could be used by a large group, it was more spacious than the photos, and the water area was completely renovated and very clean.Everyone was very satisfied with the space and facilities.I also felt that the surrounding environment was closer than in advance.Once you understand the terrain, the parking lot is not difficult at all. There was a harbor about a 2-minute walk away, and the sunset from there was very beautiful. I highly recommend this place.

Our stay was amazing, left us wishing we had stayed more than just one night. You could tell it was a newly built house from how well equipped it was! The living room + kitchen space were very comfortable hangout spots. The rooms had everything we needed, including AC and the bathroom was spacious with both a shower and a deep bathtub, right next to a very clean and we'll illuminated sink + mirror to get ready afterwards. Above all that, the host went above and beyond! From leaving some local oranges on the table for us to enjoy, to a staff member riding their bike to the train station to give a towel to my friend who had forgotten it at the house after we left, before we could even suggest going back to collect it. Truly kind and generous people, can't recommend this place enough if you're around Imabari and need a place to stay with a few people.
A shaded outdoor terrace features a wooden dining table surrounded by matching chairs, inviting relaxation with views of the serene Seto Inland Sea. Large glass doors provide easy access and allow natural light to fill the space.

Guesthouse Farmor (each room with morning food)

LanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Atsuko was an exceptional host. She went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She made a reservation for us at a restaurant and recommended a nearby onsen that was perfect after a day of biking on the Shimanami Kaido. The accommodation was comfortable, ideally located, and made for the perfect overnight stop. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Thank you for everything, Atsuko!
