Located 5 minutes from Motunau Seaside village, & 10 minutes from Greta Valley Pub & Cafe, Scargill Golf Club & Wedding Venue. This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Just a 5-minute stroll from the beach and a 17-minute drive from the city, this cozy tiny house is ideal for couples or solo travelers who appreciate simplicity and smart use of space. Wake to the sound of the waves, enjoy the fresh sea breeze and beautiful sunrises, then rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Local café, park, and walks are nearby, with a supermarket just a 5-minute drive away.

Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

Charming heritage cottage only moments from the airport. Surrounded by beautiful park-like gardens our warm 2 bedroom cottage is the perfect place to unwind whether you’re on route or looking for a relaxing getaway. Thoughtfully renovated this historic grain store has been turned into a modern, spacious 2 bedroom cottage complete with open plan kitchen and living space and a light spacious conservatory. We have a friendly golden retriever who may pop down to say hello :)

Shearers Quarters on farm, Motunau Beach Rd

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $135 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.

Cozy Motunau Cottage

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.

Unwind in your own private hot tub while soaking up the stunning vineyard views. At night, enjoy a sky full of stars—clear and bright with no city lights in sight. This fully self-contained cottage includes everything you need, from a kitchen to laundry facilities. Set right on the Waipara wine trail, it’s just a short walk or ride to some of the region’s best wineries, including Greystone, Waipara Springs, Torlesse and Black Estate.

Nestled between the walnut trees is a modern, private space in the country but so close to the city. 15 minutes to/from Christchurch Airport. This is lifestyle block that runs as a little farm. Take a walk and enjoy the countryside. An easy drive to the supermarkets and every takeaway that you can think of! Relax on the covered deck, and absorb the space. Not suitable for infants/children.
