Located 5 minutes from Motunau Seaside village, & 10 minutes from Greta Valley Pub & Cafe, Scargill Golf Club & Wedding Venue. This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Surrounded by beautiful park-like gardens our warm 2 bedroom cottage is the perfect place to unwind whether you’re on route or looking for a relaxing getaway. Thoughtfully renovated this historic grain store has been turned into a modern, spacious 2 bedroom cottage complete with open plan kitchen and living space and a light spacious conservatory. We have a friendly golden retriever who may pop down to say hello :)

With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.

Shearers Quarters on farm, Motunau Beach Rd

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $135 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.
