【traditional room】 Enjoy a relaxing stay

AlexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our first trip to Japan was so wonderful. I'm never been a fan of the city. When I went to Tokyo and Osaka it was so crowded due to over tourism in those areas. I appreciated Yoshi's accommodation more and enjoy so much of the hidden parts of Japan like Izu and parts of Shizuoka. I definitely recommend more people to stay in areas like Fujieda. It's truly a traditional experience and environment great to get settling in with Japanese culture and mannor. I would definitely recommend more foreigner explore more parts of Japan rather than the hotspots of Japan!!! I highly recommend Yoshi!!!

This is a private secluded retreat for nature lovers. Our family had an incredible time disconnecting and spending time together away from technology. The view was spectacular and the host was very helpful and responsive. This place will live in our memories forever.

Michi's accommodation is very nice, located in the heart of rice fields and tea fields. It was very nice to be away from the city and in a quiet area. The train station is a 20-minute walk, but Michi came to pick me up by car at the train station and even dropped me off when I left. He's very thoughtful. Thank you Michi for this stay.

Thank you for comforting stay. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The house has a lovely view and accessible restaurants nearby.
A vibrant spread is presented on a wooden table, featuring a black pot filled with seafood and vegetables in a rich sauce. Accompanying the dish are golden-brown roast potatoes, grilled sausages, a fresh salad with assorted greens and cherry tomatoes, and slices of crusty bread.

HAZ Cottage

Megumi and Toshi were wonderful hosts from check-in until check-out! From being greeted at the entrance, talking story in their mini cottage, giving us recommendations - places to eat, activities, and checking the surf report - and being very helpful when we needed anything. This place was clean, beautiful, private, and quiet. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I highly recommend it and I would go back there every time. Mahalo!

Staying at Shelley’s guesthouse is truly a marvelous and unique experience. With all the luxury you need and an atmospheric historical space combined, this really is more than a five star experience. If you want to take a step into a world you would otherwise never experience, please stay here. Shelley really put her soul into creating this special place in Japanese nature and it is a privilege that she wants to share it with her guests. We are forever grateful to have stayed here. And please try the local bento meals, made with love by one of the villagers. If we have a chance to ever return, we would without a doubt!
