Our stay at Gaby's property in The Gambia was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene beauty of the surroundings. It was the perfect retreat for our family, especially for our 3-year-old, who had plenty of safe space to explore and play. The property was impeccably clean, and we loved the option to have it tidied daily upon request. This attention to detail made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free. Gaby was an incredibly responsive host, always ready to assist and ensure we had everything we needed. Gaby's local dining recommendations were a highlight of our trip. Each restaurant she suggested offered delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Her insights truly enhanced our experience and made our visit even more special. Overall, our experience was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend Gaby's property to anyone seeking a peaceful and enriching getaway.

Elegant tasteful apartment nice touches like dressing table with mirror storage baskets. Matching mugs my favourite colour too lol Appreciated the water and milk left for me. Felt like i could live there. Lovely security staff felt safe as a lone traveller. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and definitely stay again . Imagine, if you will, traveling to a foreign country during a pandemic, arriving at the black of night, hassled by shady immigration officers, and having no local money. Absolute nightmare, but then swoops in the angels of mercy-Lorraine and Roy! They arranged for their driver to collect us from the airport, AND paid for our visa and airport security fee. We did reimburse them. (Note: Bring only British pounds or Gambian dalasi! No cards or USD accepted.) When we arrived at their place, Lorraine brought us food so we wouldn’t starve in the night. Then the next morning, she and Roy both greeted us with big smiles and friendly advice. The place is a dream!!! There is a lovely petite kitchen with all one needs for simple meals, a tiled shower with plenty of hot water, and two clean bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outside space is an oasis. They have created a slice of paradise complete with a large clean swimming pool, lounge areas, an honor bar, and a thatched roof gazebo. Lorraine and Roy are a wealth of information, and they are quite the adventurers. Ask Roy to tell you about their adventures of crossing the desert—before the days of mobile phones, GPS, or roads. Put it this way—you’d be a fool to stay anywhere else!

Wow! Such a beautiful home and setting- smart, clean, spacious. Communicating with Amelia prior to our arrival was easy and she was very accomodating. Buba and Ansum were excellent host support; Buba picked us up from the airport to take us to the house and was also helpful in getting us around and about whilst there, and Ansum, who lives on the site grounds was available 24/7 to asssist with any house queries. We felt super safe and secure at the property with both Buba and Ansum being extremely trustworthy and reilable. My family and I would have no hesitation in coming back to stay there and reccommend it as a perfect family holiday house where you will instantly feel at home. Thank you to all.

Best place we have stayed in the Gambia. Beautiful apartment, with own swimming pool and right next to the beach, chairs and sunbeds on the terrace and an airer for washing. The bed was very comfortable, as was the lounge furniture. Large screen tv and good internet. Bathroom and kitchen with everything you need, although we didn't cook. Washing machine/dryer. Plenty of space to put your clothes. Iron and ironing board. Two large communal swimming pools, just steps away and a bar which serves breakfast and snacks which again is a few steps away. Comfortable sunbeds provided on the beach with thick cushions, peaceful place, can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down over the sea. Five minutes walk to the main strip, where there is plenty of restaurants and night life if you choose. We would HIGHLY recommend Mounirs apartment to all, the comfort, the position, far nicer than the photo's. Thank you Mounir we will be back.

Ik kwam heel laat aan in de nacht. De receptie was heel vriendelijk, zelfs op dit uur. Mijn late vertrekuur is ook opgelost geweest met een supplement. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep ten allen tijde snel en duidelijk. Tijdens mijn verblijf wel door bed gevallen, al ben ik niet dik. Maar dit is opgelost door de maintenance van Forest View. Ik, persoonlijk dacht door de foto’s, dat er 2 slaapkamers waren maar hebben bed dan maar gedeeld. Alles was, qua comfort, aanwezig in studio. De sofa is daarentegen aan vervanging toe. Die zit heel oncomfortabel. Zowel leefruimte en slaapkamer is voorzien van airco. Je krijgt op regelmatige basis bezoek van vriendelijke aapjes op je terras die maar al te graag fruit smullen. Gambia kampt met regelmatige stroomonderbrekingen maar er is een reserve generator die dit snel oplost. De buurt zelf is aangenaam met alles vlakbij. Veel last van de uitgangsbuurt heb je niet. Er is een leuk zwembad die gedurende de volledige dag netjes wordt gehouden

I had a wonderful stay at Alagi's place, Pa his brother and family were extremely friendly and welcoming. Attentive host I always felt welcomed and at home. Anything that I requested was taken care of. I would recommend Alagi's place and I would stay here again. Thank you for making me and my husband feel so welcomed. I have stayed for a long period in one studio and can say that it has been perfect for my time. Mostly because of Mr Babz and his family’s family warm hospitality and helpfulness. Communication has been excellent. Any small issues were quickly and conscientiously resolved and the compact accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Although the location is away from the centre of activities but close to the airport, if you want an authentic feel for Gambia in bright, modern accommodation, with laundry service and air conditioning, that is excellent value for money (there are many overpriced and poor quality vacation places close to the beaches), and with a very hospitable, communicative host and family, I really recommend a stay at Babz’s studios.
