Such a beautiful cabin! We celebrated our 20 year anniversary here and it was just what we needed and wanted. Beautiful scenery! Amazing views surrounding the cabin. Peaceful. Hot Tub was my favorite amenity. Perfect for winter! We loved the modern decor and vibe of the entire home. Perfect getaway for a couple. Ruby left a sweet note & bottle of wine as a gift to us for our celebration. Very thoughtful touch. We'd love to revisit oneday and bring another couple.

Veranda Beach Resort is a nearly perfect family getaway. The cottages are quiet and peaceful retreats nestled into a community that invites you to get out and meet your neighbors. The cottage has everything you need short of a stocked refrigerator and bar. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Great spot for a New Years get away! Enjoyed fireworks and polar plunge. The staff, as always, was friendly and helpful. Great location. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood and beach and meeting other guests to celebrate the New Year. Our cottage was cozy and clean. The kitchen was amazingly stocked and a great space for enjoying meals. We hope to get up again to enjoy the ice rink, and snowy days at the beach. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you for hosting us.

The house is beautiful, very well stocked, and extremely comfortable. It is located outside of the main street of Winthrop but right on the ski trail. The kids stepped out of the house and went skiing at all hours!

Great stay! Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating in the living area, and a large dining table were perfect for our group of five. Sitting on the back deck with the pond and mountain view as backdrop was lovely! Thanks for everything!

The kitchen is fun to cook in particularly because it has everything you need. It’s a relaxing, cozy and comfortable home. Stay here!

Our group had a lovely stay! The house is situated with lovely views of the water and was well appointed. The house is walkable to the lodge which made it extremely convenient for the wedding we were attending. We would recommend!

Beautiful location, great host.

If you’re looking for fancy and upscale this might not be your cup of tea, if you’re looking for cozy and accommodating with beautiful peaceful mornings and evenings, this is it! The home is well lived in, but it is clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Brian added some really awesome touches that really stood out, my daughter was graduating and we were welcomed with a beautiful graduation vase with a couple roses, a special treat for the kids and made sure we had a fresh bag of coffee with condiments already ready for us seeing how we got in late, that was icing on the cake. We had a great time on the paddle boards, kids kayaks and the family dog had his own bed and kennel. All in all, I’ve stayed at veranda in more classy, but I’ll be looking for Brian’s place again next time! His communication was also top notch!

This place is even more beautiful than the photos! The interior is thoughtfully designed and spacious with artistic touches like wood countertops and huge windows to take in the views. The place was ideal for our family, especially with the basement full of toys for our toddler to play with! The showers had great water pressure which I always appreciate. A spectacular spot I’d love to return to.

We came back a second time to stay because it was so lovely. Perfect for our group of 4 (two couples). We slept so well in the comfy beds. Thank you for hosting us again!

Beautiful house. We used it for a work event where we hosted a work meeting on the deck that overlooks the river. It doesn’t get much better than that. The house was extremely clean and they even had a brand new smoker which we didn’t know about before hand that made our ribs turn out immaculate.

This lakehouse was absolutely beautiful. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to enjoy it for a month! The kitchen is well equipped and the refrigerator had ample space. The bathrooms had enough toilet paper for the whole month in addition to liquid hand soap and a bar of soap for the shower (shampoo/conditioner are not included). There’s also a washer and dryer which was super convenient. The lake is absolutely gorgeous though there are lots of flies in the grass, which makes it difficult to sit outside. The screened porch is an excellent area to hang out without being swarmed by flies. There’s also a grill and fire pit. It was very tranquil, beautiful, and a perfect escape from the city. I would definitely return!

Beautiful home at the shores of Lake Palmer. We were a large party and enjoyed Memorial day weekend here.

We loved staying here. The floating dock was accessible even when the water was low. Plenty of room for 6 people and we loved the bonus room for our twins to play. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We will definetly be back.

This place was so nice! It had a very spacious kitchen and living area which was wonderful for our large group. It had a beautiful view of the lake which was just a short drive away. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Katie and Mike's house. The location is perfect for exploring Mazama, Winthrop and all the beautiful nature trails in the area. The house is extremely comfortable and neat, and has lots of extras like guidebooks, toiletries and the fluffiest towels ever! The kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommended!!

Amazing stay at Mary's Barn! Mary's Barn was the perfect spot for our large group of friends. It far exceeded our expectations—the photos don’t do it justice! The living spaces were organized and spotless, and the huge kitchen and recreation area made gathering easy and enjoyable. There was plenty of parking, and the peaceful location provided the perfect retreat. Mary was an exceptional host—always responsive and incredibly helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the closets had extra blow-up mattresses and blankets, which was a thoughtful touch. The heating and air conditioning were both top-notch, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. The property is ideally located—grocery stores and beautiful walking trails are just a short drive away. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway. Thank you again, Mary, for such a wonderful experience!

Absolutely beautiful home and area to be! We had an amazing stay and will most likely book again in the future! Super quick responses when we had questions or needed help with anything, would definitely recommend to anyone!

My family of 4 enjoyed our 4 night stay at Hannah’s Lakefront home. The location is truly remote which was perfect for disconnecting for a few days. We were impressed by just how quiet and relaxing it was there. Note there’s no cell service and the WiFi can be a bit hit or miss, so while it’s a great place to disconnect from work and the city, it may not be the best choice if you need to stay connected for work or similar. The views were great and our kids enjoyed the provided paddle boards & kayaks. The arcade machine is also a hit with our kids. Note that the lakefront area is rocky/muddy, so while the kids did swim off the dock once, we ended up heading to Osoyoos Lake Veteran’s Memorial Park in Oroville for beach & swimming activities (about a 30min scenic drive). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Had a very good stay. View was amazing and kitchen had a lot of seasonings and utensils needed for cooking. Bill responded really quick and wanted for us to have a great time.
