House vacation rentals in Oatlands

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Ross is the most beautiful village to unwind. Great cafe. The house was lovely & warm. Great space in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Kyle’s place was absolutely amazing. I stayed there with my bridesmaids to get ready for my wedding, it was absolutely stunning. Perfectly designed. Very comfortable to stay in.

We had an amazing stay and it made our Easter break great! Our host was so helpful and we really appreciated his thoughtful advice. We fully recommend this place to anyone wanting a great break on Tassie’s east coast.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

One of the best places I've stayed at - very special location. Only issue we had was a contankerous TV remote which froze and required the unit be reset continuously - otherwise a perfect property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Orford. Debbie's Home in Orford was so comfortable, beautiful views and closely situated to town and the many pristine beaches. Sitting out on the deck watching the sunset was very peaceful. Debbie was a very welcoming and accommodating host and went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Great accommodation in a perfect location, was easy to find, well maintained and clean. The fireplace and charm of the cottage were amazing. I highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay at Peter’s Airbnb during Dark Mofo. The place is very spacious, clean, private and the view is incredible!! Peter is very friendly, responded quickly to any questions and ensured the place was nice and warm for our arrival. A very smooth checkin process. Thank you Peter, I would 100% book again.

Great place and fantastic host !

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The views are incredible from every room, making you feel like you are on the edge of the world. The bathtub view was a favorite for us, although the view from the Sauna was right up there too! There are so many thoughtful additions for guests- spices in the pantry, books to read - and our kids especially liked the extra toys and games! Macy was such an incredibly responsive host - getting back to us within minutes. All to say- this was a wonderful stay on our trip around Tasmania and we will certainly be back!

We loved our stay at Rebecca’s place. Small and cosy, but big enough for two couples. Sitting around the fire in the evening with a few wines we had purchased at the local Wineries was magic. Great location, close to freycinet lodge where we went for a fab dinner and drink and amazing views of the bay

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ian’s property. Everything was beautifully decorated, and the cozy touches made it feel just like home. Lighting up the fireplace was such a lovely experience, especially on the chilly nights. The host went above and beyond by welcoming us with wine, cheese, and chocolates—such a thoughtful gesture! The heated blankets were a great touch too, keeping us warm and comfy throughout our stay. Ian has also been very responsive with our queries.

What a beautiful home, and comfortable. Well appointed, access to the national park was straightforward by car. Bring some smaller cash notes if you like buying produce from roadside stands. Look forward to staying here again Not a feature of the house at all, but the local eateries* were somewhat disappointing (except for stopping in at agrarian kitchen kiosk on the way in from Hobart) vs the kitchen at the house was so lovely that in retrospect we would have put more effort into cooking at home. *cafe at the mount field visitors centre and the fika cafe at Maydena

Wonderful accommodation, the room facilities are very new and convenient, the view is beautiful, the lawn and beach lounge give the children a lot of space to play, the Milky Way at night, many kangaroos and bunnies around the evening, adding a lot of fun to this accommodation.Overall, it's really great, I believe I'll come back to this beautiful holiday place in the future

Absolutely blown away by our stay, everything was perfection. Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable and beautiful escape! We can't wait to return some day!

Old Wetmore is a beautiful, quiet place to stay with comfortable beds, tasteful decorating and everything we needed for a weekend. The house heated up well with air-conditioner, a wood heater and panel heaters. We were never cold. We came as 4 couples and it is worth noting that one room has two single beds and you need to walk through that room to get to the 4th bedroom so if privacy is an issue you need to consider this. We would highly recommend this unique place.

The lobster pot cabin was fantastic! A quick weekend away for us was great here. It was a great house and it’s styled perfectly, our infant was also looked after with a portacot and bedding already set up for her. She loved being somewhere new! Also first airbnb I’ve been to where the hosts provide a Tasmanian bottle of wine and local cheese - was awesome! The private beach is amazing, we spent a lot of time sitting out there watching the sunsets. Close to Coles bay and its activities The neighbour across the caul de sec was blasting music both Friday and Saturday night so luckily we had bought our white noise machine for our baby to lessen the noise. It doesn’t take away anything from this awesome air bnb but just be mindful if you want total quiet you’re not going to get it if they are also visiting their shack at the same time as your visit.

Provider House is absolute perfection. Every detail is curated to create a space that is serene, warm and inviting. We stayed with a full house of adults in winter and the spaces accommodated us perfectly. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the shared spaces were perfect for lounging and enjoying the fire and warmth inside. The kitchen is fully kitted out to cook for a group with beautiful dining room looking out to the bush. The extensive collection of handmade Japanese ceramics were so lovely I can’t wait to buy some from Provider Store. The bathroom and wooden Japanese bath are the ultimate indulgence, so beautifully designed you just want to be in there for hours. We also loved the linens and robes and towels, it felt like every detail had been considered. Location-wise it was perfect, it’s just a short drive from Hobart CBD but it feels like you’re much further from the hustle and bustle. Nestled in the bush with a running stream it feels like a spa retreat. Can’t wait to return.
