Vacation rentals with a patio in Nungwi

This house in Matemwe was gorgeous and the perfect get away for our little family. The design was modern, sophisticated, and functional. The rooms and service were top notch. I especially enjoyed the laundry and turn down service. We loved having access to the pool right outside each bedroom, since the beach was a bit of a hike. The breakfast that was included was always good, but we felt the dinners we opted into were incomplete and not the best value (only water, no condiments, etc.). Susan also connected us with a driver, Hassan, for the duration of our stay. He was kind and flexible, which made getting around the island very convenient. This house is one of my favorite AirBNBs ever! Asante sana to Susan and staff. We would stay definitely stay here again.

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

Zoe is a pleasant host, she was flexible with check in times and greeted us personally. Apartment is nice, it's close to the main road and boda will take you for 2-3k shillings to Kendwa or Nungwi beach. Wi-fi worked good during our whole stay. Quality of shower is very good. Zoe solved promptly one small problem that we had with stove. She even helped me with some meds when i was sick. Things for improvement: there is water pressure pump for house but sometimes it didn't work, so sometimes pressure was low. Zoe said that she has a plan to change water pump, so i think she will solve it for future guests. As per listing, there are no AC units, but there are ceiling fans in every room. Also washing machine would be nice add on for future guests, although there is a house helper who can wash your clothes for 20k shillings per wash except underwears, that you need to wash yourself. If you don't mind those small cons, you won't go wrong with Zoe and her place.

Simone was a lovely host! Responded super quickly. Saïd picked us up from the airport and was always ready. Mtumwa poetse wonderful! Sparkling clean. Beds were wonderfully changed every 4 days. If electricity and water failures, there was a generator. Nice! Beach in front of the door not really clean, but a short walk and you have a nice beach. In the house an info folder with all kinds of tips for trips. You can ask the helpful Saïd as a driver, or someone else. Children from the neighborhood play in front of the door on the beach. We enjoyed it! Put your chair on the beach at 5.30 pm and look at the fishing boats that come back with their catch. The house has a lovely veranda with dining table and chairs, where you can have breakfast etc. We had a lovely stay of 4 weeks and thank Simone for the good communication! Tip: bring aea for the children. They are really poor.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We were met, shown where everything was, there was even a small treat (snacks and watermelon). Everything worked properly, electricity, water, and internet. There was plenty of kitchen utensils, there's even a blender. Very nice Masai who are on duty 24/7. There's a grill outside, but we didn't use it. There is a cat with a kitten on the premises, for us it was a very nice bonus. The house itself is without insects and other things. And all around is your private area. There is a supermarket nearby, but it takes 20 minutes to walk to the beach, but the beach itself is incredibly beautiful. It should also be borne in mind that the curtains that cover the glass do not hide everything 100%, so you are always a little, but visible from the outside.

Tatyana was a very responsive host. My family and my friend's family had a restful 2 days stay there. We enjoyed the facilities and she also gave a few recommendations for places to visit nearby. Swimming pool was very well maintained and also temperature controlled. Early morning or late evening even on monsoon days we enjoyed the pool. Julia (pet dog) was also very friendly and playful and my kids enjoyed playing with the pet too. Only one challenge we faced was because of the water. Water was bit hard and salty in the bath room and wash basin. Except that everything else was wonderful.

Really nice place in nungwi close to the beach

This was such a lovely stay! Mr. Davies and Paola were extremely helpful before and during our stay, the villa was even more gorgeous than we expected and the entire team helped us feel right at home. They paid attention to the little details and we super responsive to every single question and request. Thank you so much, I’m already planning my next trip back!

Anne’s place was modern and clean. The staff was amazing and went over and beyond to accommodate us whether it came to booking tours/ excursions or something we randomly needed around the property. I would 100% recommend if you're looking for a balance between remote and relaxation but close enough to get to the main attractions of the island.
