The Famous Thiksey Monastery is just 15 minutes drive from my home and a visit to Thiksey monastery morning prayers is a must while staying here. The building in which the homestay is, had been built in traditional Ladakhi style, the floors are wooden & ceiling is also made in the traditional Ladakhi style- with tree trunks. Some of the rooms have best view of the mountains specially Stok glacier. ( 6150 meters above sea level). Outside the building there is farm in which we grow green-spinach, bokchoy, brocolli, cauliflower, cabbage, potato, tomato etc. we practice organic farming since 2009.

You won’t want to leave this central yet quiet farm house, located just next to tissuru stupa and just a lesiurely walk from Shanti stupa. The house has a commanding view of the whole leh town. We welcome guests/ families who prefer some local cultural experience. Perfect place of you are driving into leh and want some peace and quiet.
