Located amongst many beautiful heritage homes it’s charm and spectacular view is hard to find in a city. You will find many wonderful things to enjoy, all within walking distance!

Enjoy the stunning views of sunsets, boats moving in and out of the harbour and wildlife moving past on the Strait of Canso from our front porch, which is also conveniently located on Granville Street in Port Hawkesbury: walking distance to many local amenities. Many Cape Breton highlights are a day trip away: from Port Hood beach, to tubing the Margaree river, Big Spruce Brewery, Cabot Links and incredible hikes.

PRIVATE two room suite located in our family home. 10 min. from historic Ch'town. One room has a double bed the other room has a king sized bed, dining table and (queen-pull out) couch. Suite includes well stocked kitchenette with a fridge, dishwasher, laundry, microwave, induction burner and coffee station. Also, AC, a flat screen television, wi-fi, propane firepit and BBQ. Beautiful spruce lined acre feels like private grounds. Local friendly hosts. Not suitable for parties.

Winter beauty, you can snowshoe across to the island once it freezes over or go ice fishing! Beautiful sunrises, lots of trails nearby for cross country skiing or ATVing if that's your thing. The woodpile is stocked for winter bonfires. Great locations for day trips to the Bay of Fundy, just 30 minutes to Moncton. I live in the loft upstairs, you have a fully private apartment. Just bring your food and personal items and enjoy the Acadian Coastline.

We are a five minute walk from all downtown amenities (Including the library and the Credit Union Business Center) and a five minute drive from all shops and the hospital in Amherst.
