“We loved our winter getaway at Debra’s! We came up to do some hiking and see the ice castles and it was so nice to be able to come back to such a cozy and welcoming place! We had everything we needed and then some! With our own kitchen area we had the option to make some meals versus go out. We were only 40 mins. or so from North Woodstock and it was mostly highway, which made for a really easy ride. So many amazing winter views! Also very close to the outlets and grocery stores, etc. as needed. Definitely also check out the elk farm as well! This location is also not too far from the lakes or Loudon and if we had time we would have explored and hiked more! Thank you Debra! All of your little touches of coffee/tea/water needs and small snacks showed how much you care for your guests! We hope you have a great rest of your winter!”
Our home is located within easy distance to the lakes region and the White Mountain region. Minutes from parks, restaurants and dining, and art and culture. You’ll step back in time with the ambiance offered by Victorian architecture, once prevalent in this old NH mill town, close to Proctor Academy, Tilton School as well as outlet shopping. Ideal for couples and outdoor enthusiasts and, of course, business travelers.
“SallyJane and Mark are wonderfully gracious hosts. My stay was short lived but a much needed reprieve. My stay, while only one night was so relaxing from the tub to the bed and a delightful breakfast spread. I haven't slept so soundly in quite some time. Fyi the room is on the second floor, but the stairs are not steep. Also, I wasn't sure what to expect as the mobile site has few shots of the room. So, I was happily surprised to see how beautifully appointed the room and adjoining bath was. The room itself has a sitting area, an incredibly comfortable bed in the turreted corner of the room and the bath had a clawed foot tub. There is a shower, but I didn't make use of it. However, I made full use of the tub as that's a rarity. My breakfast was a filling spread of fruit, yogurt and perfectly poached eggs especially enjoyed with the hosts who I asked to join me. What a great start to a full day of dance!”
Enjoy a rustic all wood home overlooking a gentleman's fruit orchard with a spacious front yard and outdoor play area for young children. Appreciate the commodious carport, quiet privacy with no nearby traffic, yet five minute access to restaurants and shopping.
“First off, David and Cathy are just incredible hosts. As soon as David noticed we had two little girls, he went to work assembling the slide and canopy to the playground set that is outdoors. Not necessary, but our girls absolutely loved their time on the set. The hosts have big hearts! The property itself is gorgeous filled with fruit trees, rocking chairs on the balcony overlooking their space, a fire pit to enjoy--very, very peaceful. Inside is beautiful. Rustic, well-decorated. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. And you can't beat the location. An hour and half from Boston, not even half an hour from Concord or Laconia. Will we be back? 100% yes. :) This will be our go-to spot when wanting to get away in New England. No need to look anywhere else.”
