Beachfront vacation rentals in Northern Taiwan

We stayed 7 weeks and loved every moment. Wake up, go in the sea, make coffee, get to work. Such a lovely tucked away location, great light and great balcony. An ideal place for those that want to escape the city and focus on their work. It was a fabulous life in Baishawan, highly recommended 👌

We had a great stay! Space was clean and right off the beach. Would love to come back again!

Chill Chill House is a lovely place to say. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. There is a great kitchen/living room area, and easy access to the beach. My wife and I had to change our booking date, and the host was very accommodating and friendly. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back one day!

Right across from Double Lions beach (1 minute away), a local restaurant 3 mins away, convenience store 1 min away, Waiao beach 10 minute walk away. Water pressure in shower is good, hot water always available, air conditioning is working, drinking water machine available. Perfect stay for a surf trip. Jimmy and staff are very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

A comfortable, quiet studio apartment in a high-rise building with a view of the beach. Good bathroom, wi-fi, hot water, space to put away your own stuff. Advice: if you want to do any cooking, food prep, or even slicing of fruit, let the owner know in advance. We did not, and when we arrived, the kitchen had absolutely nothing in it. The host, however, provided us with kitchen tools when we requested them. The bed linen and towels could use an upgrade. But overall, a good apartment 100 meters from the walking path along the beach, with a host who is eager to please. Shopping streets are about a 12-minute walk from the apartment.

The guest house is conveniently located right in front of the train station (<1min walk) and 7 mins away from the most breath taking view of the sea! The guest house is so uniquely cool, decorated with all the artsy surf merch you can imagine! The owner is also a surf coach so if you love surfing, this is the right place for you! The owner, Mr Huang, is the most hospitable, kindest and friendliest person ever! He invited us for a basketball game with his kids and I say that was one of my most memorable nights in Taiwan🇹🇼!

Luckily, I met Tina in person. I could see she was doing her best to help us and offer us everything we need. She showed me around the facilities and explained how to use all the facilities such as swimming pool, reading room, gym, playing room, etc. And she prepared subway map, taibei map for us. even shuttle bus tickets.

We could write a lot, only the best things, but such places should remain a secret. The host, staff, places - everything was like something out of a fairy tale. Thanks to extraordinary kindness, hospitality, trust and family atmosphere, we received the greatest holiday of our lives from wonderful people and a beautiful place. This IS a place we will always come back to. Thank you!

這絕對是我住過九份體驗最好的民宿了。 令人驚豔的空間安排帶來良好的採光及氣氛，很大程度的保留了老屋本身的美感，而不是全面的翻新，這點非常的對我的胃口。 客廳提供了大電視及 Netflix (設定好的，不用登入自己帳號)，以及一台任天堂 (FC) 的復刻機，看看電影打打電動幾個小時就過去了。 旁邊除了餐桌，還有完備的廚房設備。提供自製早餐的簡單材料，冰箱裡甚至預先製作好了冰塊，這點我在台灣根本沒有碰過。 最後，整間房間最棒的一定是半露天的浴缸，晚上白天各有不同的景色，泡著澡喝著小酒，享受九份的夜景，這次的住宿真的是很美好的體驗。 推薦來九份可以來這邊入住，喜歡老式建築氛圍的人應該都不會失望的。

地點不錯，走路12分鐘即可到達熱鬧的街道採買，走路10分鐘左右可到海邊。 房間乾淨、設備很新、擺設舒服，可惜海景不清楚很遠。 大樓管理不錯，ㄧ樓有飲水機，但健身房等公設需另外付費。

The Sleepy Cabin was such a cute little escape from city life. Unfortunately, we went when it was raining and couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the little town. The cabin had everything you’ll need for a beach stay. I would recommend buying some groceries first for food as restaurants were limited when we went (we did go just before Chinese New Year). I would highly recommend!
