Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Cape

This was by far one of the top 5 stays we had. What a beautiful home. Perfect for 2 or 4 guests. we will be back is in the area again.

A beautiful home and garden in a pristine farm in the Cederberg Wilderness, with everything we required for a long weekend. There is a lovely sensitivity to the surroundings and many personal touches that make staying at Sugarbird one of the nicest Air B&B experiences we have had. Will certainly be back. Don't forget to look up at the night sky!

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

Tanya’s house is perfect for a weekend getaway! A highlight of the house is that you can sit on the stoep and still have so much privacy from people walking by in the road. The house is only a quick walk from the beach, which is so nice when you want to go for a quick dip. We had a really comfortable stay and would highly recommend the house!

Excellent one bedroom unit. Well designed, and a kitchen with all appliances and more. Very nice space on a nice safe street. Very happy I chose it and highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at Inni Kraal. I think it's a great location for an overnight stay when commuting between Jhb and CPT. It suits a single traveler as well as a small family of four. There's safe parking inside their premises, outside the unit. it's a bit of a tight squeeze driving in but my mini suv had no problems. They have an excellent restaurant as well which serves delicious food. I loved the Karoo lamb chops and the Malva pudding. They also serve delicious pizzas and beer on tap. I had the darling pale ale. I found it quite cosy sitting close to the bar. The toilet and bathroom facilities are good. I enjoyed the warm showers. The kitchen is adequate and had all you need.

Deon's place was totally worth the price! We arrived around 7pm and his daughter warmly welcomed us with a thorough tour. When Deon arrived, he personally stopped by to introduce himself and made sure we knew to reach out if we needed anything. He was super responsive throughout our stay. The Olyf Takkie accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like home. I'd definitely stay again and highly recommend it to friends and family.

Ladene's place was very clean and easy to access. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kimberley. I felt at home, everything about the place exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with how Ladene keep me updated, what a warm welcome and unforgettable experience.

Such a wonderful place to have stayed at. The place was very neat and clean. There is great safety and privacy. Charlene greeted me at the door, explained everything and was very welcoming.

Hannah's place was peaceful, private, and cosy, a conducive stopover to rest after a long drive. It is easily accessible from the N1/N12. The place was also equipped with everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom and the bedroom.

Very welcoming and also a great space

Such a lovely little spot. The photos fit the description and it is a romantic little setup for two. The place was within walking distance from the Waterfront and beach, was nice and quiet, and the host was accommodating and friendly. Also, finding a pet-friendly place that our doggo could enjoy was awesome. Would highly recommend for couples looking for a getaway.

Just a stone throw away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean in all her glory. The beach has an abundance of flat stones, making it a mecca for someone who enjoys stone-skippimg whilst taking in the amazing views. The beach is pristine, and you'll see the random (large) crayfish just walking past you as if going for a stroll. So many west coast mussels all around too. The area is very quiet, with the occasional spotting of anotber resident. The closest shop is in the next town, a short drive away. The rest of the space is beautifully designed, functional, good braai area. Flowy lounge and kitchen area. Good strong wifi, fully equipped for self catering, lovely outside braai area.
