Come stay in our sweet, new guesthouse! This is NOT a basement space. It has a real bedroom (not a studio) & full kitchen. The Silver Star cottage is in our backyard but very separate with its own city lane access. Lots of beautiful wood and a cozy vibe. We are 1 block from the fabulous Alberta Arts St. but far enough away that it's quiet here. Perfect! Walk to shops & restaurants. Also easy to access anywhere in the city. There's a double-sized hide a bed couch in the airy living space.

Uniquely cozy with all the amenities of home but in a cottage up on Cooper Mt. Where you are surrounded by trees , feel the breezes, sunrise and sunset in the same day, and sometimes the wonderful wildlife around us. Adorable St. Johns House w/Porch

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Debbie's place for 3 weeks and it was everything we had hoped it would be. Our toddler had the time of her life in this home. We stayed very busy during our trip, but being able to walk through historic St. Johns and view the St. Johns Bridge at sunset nearly every evening was just as memorable as anything. The backyard had even more space than expected from the photos with different types of trees and flowers; along with plenty of squirrels playing in the branches, which our daughter absolutely loved! A neighbor has a pond in their backyard which gives sounds of light running water and a family of croaking frogs. Very calming! The home was well stocked, I don't think there was ever a time we needed something that we didn't have. Walk up the road to Wonderwood Springs for coffee/ice cream. It's a space unlike anything you've seen before, Mike Bennett's work is top notch and you'll see his art all over town. Thank you for everything!

Loved staying in this home for a weekend getaway to Portland. The area was great with food options within close walking distance, while also being a short trip via car/bus to other areas. The home was very clean and immaculate, had everything we needed, and helped us feel right at home. The neighborhood was also gorgeous and was great for strolling through. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great spot for us! The kitchen and upper living spaces were gorgeous and so family friendly - the sectional and round coffee table were at perfect heights for easy kids play, crafts, etc. The private office area was much appreciated by my son who needed to check in on some work issues. We had 3 families together and the house functioned well with 3 “zones”: a lower level suite for son/DIL and baby; an upper level zone for son/DIL and 2 young kids and a beautiful primary suite for my husband and me. The kitchen setup was very functional for meals and conversation. Very high end appliances, especially the professional level coffee system. Rod was very responsive with our requests for a pack and play and high chair. We highly recommend this beautiful home, and appreciated Rod’s thoughtful hosting.

Its a Beautiful house set in a quiet cul-de-sac so there was no traffic to speak of the few days we were there. The house felt very warm and welcoming. It had all the amenities yous expect along with alot of extra touches the host provided. It was clean and everything was in order. The gas fireplace was definitely a plus and a great asset to the space. It really made it cozy and felt like home.Its about a 15 minute drive from downtown Portland, but only a few minutes to a Safeway and other shopping areas if you forget something. Even though we came to explore Portland it was hard to leave the house as it was so serene and peaceful there. I've stayed right in downtown cities and the noise was unbearable , sirens , garbage trucks and vehicles racing all night. That is definitely not a problem here as you could hear a pin drop and I couldn't remember a place i slept so well. Definitely a gem of an airbnb and I'd highly recommend.

Hannah’s house was perfect for our family gathering in Portland. It was conveniently located, immaculate, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we could ask for. Furnishings were tasteful and appliances up to date. Beds and sofas were comfy. Hannah was an extremely responsive host. We look forward to our next stay!
