The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

Michael is very committed, friendly, extremely helpful and easily accessible! The house offers a lot of space for a large group, free space to enjoy and relax. The garden and the braai area invite you to linger for hours. The furnishings throughout the house leave nothing to be desired, everything is in impeccable condition, the rooms are very spacious, it just has a lot of space! The kitchen is very spacious and has all the appliances needed for cooking, baking, sizzling! The house has a lady who takes care of the rooms, the cleanliness and the care of the house twice a week, more on request. She is a very warm and kind person, always happy to help. The gardeners are very committed, keep the beautiful garden very clean and very well maintained. In short: a little paradise. For us as golfers all the more because the house allows the view of the Parkview GC…always exciting to watch how other golfers interpret the game for themselves.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

A truly wonderful place to spend a few days (or longer) in the heart of Sandton. I will certainly be back.

Tanya was warm and hospitable, and kindly allowed us to check in earlier even though the accommodation was still being prepared for us. Piping hot showers, comfortable beds and tea/coffee station with delicious rusks all helped make our stay great and I would definitely stay with Tanya and Niels again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stanley & Alison's cottage for a long stay, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our cat, Meadow, was warmly welcomed, which meant so much to us. The cottage is nestled among stunning trees and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its location is incredibly convenient—close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, Norwood Mall, and just about anything else we needed. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for linens. The weekly visits from the friendly cleaner and helpful gardener were a lovely bonus and added to the ease of our stay. Stanley & Alison were excellent hosts, and we truly loved every moment of our time here. We can’t recommend this cottage enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated retreat. Jeremy and Janet were absolutely wonderful hosts who welcomed both me and my pup with open arms. They're genuinely lovely people - the kind you could chat with for hours about anything and everything. Their helper Kingsley was fantastic too, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is stunning - gorgeous architecture with beautiful paintings throughout that honestly made me feel like I was staying in some charming European home. The neighborhood felt really safe as well. I parked on the street every day without any worries and enjoyed walking around the area regularly. Overall, this was such a great experience with truly exceptional hosts. I'd recommend Jeremy and Janet to anyone looking for a special place to stay - you won't be disappointed!

I had a great time at Rose’s place. Very spacious and private. Rose welcomed me by the gate even though I arrived at night and she was hospitable. The check-in and check-out times were very flexible. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely 3-bedroom home! Our family of 6, plus our infant, were very comfortably accommodated. The house was exactly as listed—clean, spacious, and equipped with all the promised amenities. It felt very homey and perfect for a family getaway. The host went above and beyond—she was incredibly courteous and responsive throughout our stay. We were especially touched that she even purchased a baby bath for us, in addition to providing the cot listed in the description. Her thoughtful gestures and prompt communication made our trip smooth and stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

I spent a month with Robyn and I have to admit that it was one of the best months ever! The Tiny House is super cozy and perfectly adequate for one person. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped for everyday use and it was very comfortable. It was lovely to enjoy my morning coffee in the garden and Robyn was always responsive. Ella and Tiger, dog and cat were also pleasant company.The neighbors from the other tiny houses were also very friendly and accommodating. I felt safe throughout and there are grocery stores nearby. Johannesburg is a wonderful city and I can only recommend everyone to see it for themselves. Now to Robyn: My love! Thank you so much for a fantastic month, for the wisdom and conversations we shared and for giving me an insight into your world. Stay the way you are and keep up the amazing work!

Fantastic stay! The estate is really safe and the restaurant on site is amazing for great value. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

The place is full of greenery and peaceful in a secure location, even enjoyed my evening walk. We enjoyed our stay and it is also quiet place to work from home. Entire house was nicely and cleanly maintained. Peter is always there whenever we asked for any help or assistance. Would love to stay again.

What a wonderful space!! Our stay at Serendipity Cottage was wonderful. Our only regret - that we had so much planned out and about with family that we didn't spend more time at the cottage itself. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in (please send me the mattress details!) and it had everything we could have wanted or asked for. We will be back for sure and this time will make sure we have more time physically at Serendipity to enjoy it and the lovely surrounding garden. Thank you Andrew for having us!
