Villa 13 is the perfect stop off place in Maun. Although not located in a typical tourist area, the location is actually surprisingly peaceful - more so than some of the more well known lodges in Maun. The house itself is immaculate - spacious, clean and has everything we needed. Was perfect place to regroup, restock, recharge and relax after 7 nights camping in the bush. Definitely recommended!

Casa Bena: Rent entire house - Sleeps 2 to 6

My wife, daughter and I spent last night at Casa Bena. The house is very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast consisting of eggs, cheese, yogurt and bread was provided for the first night. Antony is a great host. He was extremely responsive to all of my messages and very helpful. We would definitely stay at Casa Bena if we return to Maun.

This is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed!! First of all, the photos do not even come close to doing justice for this place. The whole property is insanely beautiful and feels like you’re in a fancy lodge at times while being rustic. Willemien is one of the sweetest and most helpful hosts we’ve ever had. I 10/10 recommend this place

Awesome place and find. Was upgraded to a better place. Was attended to even though i had to arrive early. Very fast response and accepted my booking in 5 mins whilst i was stranded on the side of the road from a fraudulent booking. Outside doesn't show much, but once inside its a hidden gem with personal service and the units are very homely and cozy. Internet is great as our network had reception issues. A real value for money hidden gem. Thank you for a awesome place and experience. Will definitely be returning December holidays. Regards Shane van der Mescht

Severine and her team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the area and surrounds. She was extremely accommodating after a booking mistake on our end. The facilities were great and well looked after. Toilets were nice and clean with everything working which for us was perfect. All in all great hospitality, great location, neat facilities and we will definitely comeback when we are that side again.

We had a great time staying at Bev‘s place and even extended our stay by two nights. The house matches the picture and everything is as described. It is spacious and offers all you need to be comfortable. Check-in was super nice with her sister Tracy welcoming us in person. Tracy was also around whenever we needed anything. What I would like to highlight in particular is the communication with Bev, which was easy, fast and pleasant. She clearly wanted us to feel at home and when there was a water shortage, she made sure to solve the matter quickly. All in all we can only recommend her place when looking for accommodation in Maun.

Such a beautiful cottage situated in a large property. Perfect place to stay, its far enough from the city to be completely quiet, but also 15 min in car from Maun. It will be my first choice to stay when I'll return to Maun.

I loved my stay at Askiesbos! I was here for a month to conduct research in Nxamasere. I arrived much later in the day than I originally estimated, but Dammann and Hettie stayed in close contact with me and Dammann was waiting for me at the gate to welcome me upon arrival. They were extremely hospitable and made me feel very comfortable during my stay. They also supported my research by allowing me to use the beautiful lounge area for some of my data elicitation sessions (not to mention providing a reliable internet connection and power source, which goes a long way in my field!). The chef, Titi, cooks fantastic food that feels like dining out at a restaurant. I would definitely recommend staying here for vacations or for work.

Golentle, home away from home

Kay and her family welcomed us in their oasis in the eastern district of Maun. She offered to pick us up at the airport, which we gladly accepted. The room was well prepared, clean, towels and shower gel were provided. Also purified water is provided as well as free refills. We often used the small kitchen area to cook for our selfes in the evening. Different supermarkets are easily reachable by foot within 10 to 15 minutes to get groceries. On days we wanted to start a little more slow, we opted to get breakfast in Golentle. All in all it was a great base for our safari activities around Maun.

Enjoyable stay, comfortable place for good value. It’s a little bit remote, and the location on the app not 100% accurate. The host was quick to answer his phone and guide me tochtje correct location though.
