They can help you with organizing your jungle trip and transport to and from Ketambe. They have a few lovely cats and a really cute daughter who gives you presents all the time. If you are looking for a nice and affordable place to stay in Ketambe, this is the place to be.

we had the best stay in this house! Bobi and his crew are dedicated to preserve the wildlife is Sumatra, they do this from the profit which arise ftom this accomodation. We went on a jungle trekking lead by 3 of the staf members. These guys felt like our best friends from day one! Drinking some beers, playing cards and playing guitar are standard evening rituals. Definitely would recommend this place for your stay in Bukit Lawang!

That's has been amazing. They are such kind hosts and make you feel right at home. The meal's are delicious, easy walk to Church's for surf and many other options via boat ride. I've actually extended my stay because I've enjoyed it so much :)

Beautiful bungalow tucked into the jungle with wonderful host family. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, we would especially recommend Ronnie, our guide on the jungle trek. It was a most peaceful 2 nights. One consideration when booking this place: as it is in the proper jungle (but with all basic amenities), you will be doing like a 15 minute trek uphill, so I do not recommend rolling suitcases to take up. We had our backpacks, it was worth the small hike.

Where do I begin, firstly Doan was helpful in maintaining contact throughout the journey to get to the place. He ensured all was in order and ensured that I was received by the on-site host; Uncle Bond. It didn’t feel like i was coming for a short stay at a place on Airbnb. it was like coming home. Uncle Bond was ready at the entrance to receive me upon reaching and we instantly clicked. He provided me with information that was not only accurate but also ensured that I got the best service that Samosir could give me. Our late night “ngobrol” sessions by the river learning about the Batak Community was the highlight of it all. He brought me to markets where you could see locals selling their produce, interactions, learning about the community. If you’re not well prepped on your itinerary here, fret not Uncle Bond will provide you all the spots to check out, useful local tips and many more. all in all it was an amazing stay and for that, i will surely return again to this island.

One thing I didn’t realize is that this listing is that of an agent and the lodge has its own online booking option. But this is a far better option because of the personalized support you get from this team. Everything from picking you up at the airport, carrying your bags to the room & touring you around for any activity you want… prices for the lodge are a little higher than that of others in the area, but the location and cleanliness of this one is better. the guides are pretty amazing .. they make the trip. Book a tuk tuk tour on your first day so you know where yo want to return to. The tuk tuk is not inexpensive as compared to the rest of Indonesia but honestly, it’s a reasonable rate for the service and the personal attention to detail. And for the parents out there, this is 100% good for all ages. My son is 4yo and did the trekk and overnight stay. In the jungle. There was also a 5month old baby on a 5hour trekk. The guides make everything catered to your needs. 👌🏻👌🏻
