Cozy modern house close to the nature

YaoRating, 5 stars79 months ago
As how it discribed, this place is in a quiet and close to nature place, unlike most other hotels/hostels in this price range in Indonesia, you will get a stunning view of mt lokon just outside the window, and no hustle and bustle of motorbikes from the main road. Newly Morden furnished with everything you need for a room for basic living requirements are there. As this is part of the hotel, you will get help from both Sharon and her co host and their hotel staff, the staff are very helpful and kind. The host Sharon is very responsive and always answer any questions you asked, her co cost is very attentive and caring, making sure our stay is nice and pleasant. Sharon shares her inside knowledge of Tomohon with me which is very helpful when you come here for the first time and don’t know where to start. And her co cost took us for a day out which is excellent and very thoughtful. Although the location is not in town center, there’s a Korean restaurant next door and small shops opposite if you feel like some pot noddles. Bukit Doa is very close to where we are (5 minuets walk), but we also walked to town and Mt Mahawu (which took us around 4 hrs, the last 20 mins walk is very narrow and slippery). If you don’t feel like walking, the hotel offers transport to town and daily private hire with a very reasonable price. As someone who is used to the quiet English countryside, I find this place is one of the best place I stayed in Indonesia (we only travelled in Kalimantan and Sulawesi). Sitting in the lounge listening to birds and immerse yourself in the greenery nature around you or just taking a stroll in the countryside road (road here is in very good condition), checking what crops/flowers people have been growing and see what the locals do for a living. Once again, I really appreciate what Sharon and her co cost did for us, making our stay in Tomohon one of our highlights during our travel. Book this room and you will find a different Tomohon as others will just crowded in town breathing in fume and listen to the motorbikes constantly. And this is not a paid advertisement.
A private room is displayed, featuring a spacious wooden bed with brown bedding. A small blue side table with a lamp is positioned beside the bed, alongside a wall-mounted clock showing the time. A wardrobe and a comfortable seating area are also present, complemented by decorative plants.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a small cozy room with everything you need and only 10min with the bike from the centre. Thank you for hosting me.
A sunset vista over the ocean is captured, with the sun casting warm hues across the sky. Silhouettes of leaves from a nearby plant gently frame the view, while the rocky shoreline is visible in the distance.

Modern newly built room with great view

YaoRating, 5 stars79 months ago
Nice, quiet and cozy place to stay in Tomohon, the room is newly renovated, very clean and spacious. Bed is very comfortable, also has a table/desk and lamp as a working/reading and writing area. Host Sharon is very responsive and attentive, her co host is very approachable and caring. Also we had the help from the hotel staff as well. Hotel has private car hire with/without driver with a reasonable price, and driver speaks basic English and knows the area very well. If you like being in a quiet place, this one is perfect for you, it’s not in the town center where most noises generate from; and you can see the iconic Gurung Lokon from the lounge just outside. At night, no noise of motorbikes zooming by, only frogs and some random dog barks. Bukit Doa is within walking distance, town center is about 1.3 miles away, which is walkable, or you can ask the hotel staff to order a Grab for you, they are very helpful. Staff cleans the room everyday unless you told them otherwise. Plenty things to do in Tomohon and the surrounding area. Sharon and her co cost are happy to give you tips about this area, what to do and where to go. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to stay in Tomohon, very clean and comfortable, unlike other hotels we stayed, this one is outstandingly Morden. I recommend everyone who come to Tomohon stays here.

Sunset Guest House and Bar - Room Shared Bathroom

Helmi & Yoke are without doubt the best hosts you could ever wish for! This is my second stay with them and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else on the Island. They both go beyond to ensure you have everything you need and more. Their food is absolutely incredible, they soon learn your favourite dishes so that every meal is absolute perfection and their soup is out of this world.
A spacious room features a large bed with bright orange accents and textured bedding. The brick walls add warmth, while a window allows natural light to fill the space. A woven mat and decorative elements complement the inviting atmosphere.

KURNIA HOMESTAY 3

EshaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Unfortunately, I just stay for a night in Ms.Aty's place so I cant say much. The place is located near the city centre, and in a nice neighborhood:) You can enjoy just wandering around the area. And for the host, Ms. Aty, she is kind lady and knowledgeable about Ternate. You can ask her about the place recommendations in Ternate!
A cozy living area is highlighted by elegant wooden furniture, including a central coffee table surrounded by four chairs. Natural light filters through multiple windows, which are adorned with light-colored curtains. Decorative cushions add a touch of comfort to the seating.

I had a very nice stay in Kurniawati's place. She has been very welcoming and helpful regarding informations about visiting the island and continuing my trip. The room was comfortable and the area is quiet and well located, with many commodities nearby. Thank you so much for your hospitality Kurniawati :)
A cozy bedroom is featured with two single beds positioned near large windows that provide ample natural light and views of the surrounding landscape. Sheer curtains gently filter light, and a small table is placed beside the beds, enhancing the serene atmosphere.
