This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. This cozy cottage style home is located near Forsythe and Oliver in Monroe, making it near many restaurants, schools, etc. Close to the interstate and ULM. The space is pet friendly and we have two TVs with streaming and WiFi. Washer/dryer on site. Spread out in a king size bed in the master and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware. All new appliances Jan 2023.

Grand Historic Home in the Heart of Town

Built in the early 1900s, The Preaus House is boasting with character. From 12' ceilings to original hardwood floors, there are unique attributes in each room. There are 4 beautifully colored (non-functional) fireplaces in all the downstairs bedrooms, a claw foot tub/shower combination, rare cork tiles in the den, custom cabinetry, and a fabulous farmhouse kitchen sink. Savage Lane

Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

Sue's Southern Stay

This private house sleeps 3 in the bedroom and 1 on the couch. I do have an inflatable queen mattress that can be used upon request. It has a full kitchen and private washer/dryer also.There is a fenced yard for a large dog, but the fence is wide enough that a small dog will be able to escape. Located within 8 miles of I-20, University of Louisiana at Monroe, and Pecanland Mall.
