Absolutely stunning, idyllic oasis in the centre of the island. Little paths weave across Gili Air for a quick bike ride in any direction, choose your beach, choose your restaurant - that’s the hardest part of being on this island. So many to choose from! Start your day at the coffee roasters cafe 1 minute away - they do matcha too :-) End your day in the lush pool staring up at the stars. Charlie, the housekeeper, is so friendly and helpful, truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Charlie for organising our luggage, massages in the villa, snorkling, the medic, everything! Can’t wait to return to this peaceful island

I highly recommend this accommodation! It is a wonderful experience to stay at Julies place. The bed is amazingly comfortable! King size and super special great mattress! The garden is huge! With many places to chill and have it just wonderful relaxing. The kitchen is suited withe everything you need.(you will not use it, because the food at flow next door is delicious :) ) The staff, is so sweet and friendly and will arrange everything so that you can feel comfortable. And the family from Julie is just nice, there are living next door. I felt so home and worm and welcomed! I definitely will stay there again and I could not imagine a better place to stay at GiliAir. and also good to know: I worked half days and the internet works just perfect! Even if there is power cut at the Island you do have Internet (and power) at Julies place wich was amazing for me! Big recommendation!

Me and my husband first booked this place for 1 week, but as soon as soon as we checked-in we booked an extra week because the host and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Warm water for showers and routine cleaning every few days to keep the room and linens fresh. Breakfast is included and it was always delicious. The pancake was consistent everyday and came with fresh fruit. Kaktus also has a cooking school and a silversmith class. Do either of them or both! It is a great way to spend your time. We went to the cooking class and had so much fun learning the local dishes. We 💚 Kaktus and hope to come back in the future!

Daeng and his wife are such lovely, kind and welcoming hosts! The location is great as it’s a short walk from the beach and not far from the harbour too. It’s nice and peaceful. The room was big and spacious and had a water filter too (I didn’t actually end up staying in it though as I had to go to another island so only saw it briefly) but they kindly kept my heavy luggage for me! 🙏 Thank you both!

Guesthouse was very simple, very clean and in very good location. 8minute walk from harbor, don't even need to get any transport. Most of the days you can manage without renting a bike as well - everything is close and in walkable distance. Beach is 2min walk from the guesthouse. There is hot water in the shower, very good AC. Over all very quiet location. Sometimes others guests might be a bit loud or wake up early and speak a bit loudly. But considering Mosques on the island, I was always sleeping with earplugs, so all those noises were not that disturbing. If you like your sleep - bring earplugs! Without them you might end up being the most grumpy tourist on island. I was staying for couple of weeks there (way longer than regular tourist) and for long stay the only problem is some sort of storage - closet, hangers, shelves. Room has a bed and two bedside tables, all my clothes and rest of my stuff was just laid down on the floor. Gets very messy and disorganized after couple of days. But for a short trip this place is great! WiFi is good when it is. But it tend to disappear for couple of hours almost every day. Not the fault of the host, that's how it is on this island. Not a place for digital nomad.

We had a really really lovely Stay. We got lots of use out of the lovely swimming pool just steps from our room. There are beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The breakfast was delicious. All staff were very friendly and helpful Puts was an amazing host. He collected us from Sanur and dropped us to the ferry when leaving. He was always so helpful and responded very quickly to messages. Thank you for a lovely stay

Putu and his staff are amazing!! They are willing to jump through major hoops to accommodate you in any fashion. We travelled with two small children 4yr and 16mo and they were extremely accommodating. Provided transport whenever needed at any hour of the day! And the food was awesome, at the restaurant or delivered to eat on your balcony watching the fishing boats sail by. Also, if you stay here, coordinate with Putu a trip to Gili, he sets everything up and it is life changing. I would most definitely stay here again! Perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Denpasar.
