After the hustle and bustle of the city, it was wonderful to relax in the peace and quiet of the house and the area. Every morning we started fully equipped on the new day. Glad we could make a cup of tea ourselves and eat a sandwich. Wonderfully hot shower and good beds. The service is excellent. Emebet helped us the first day with a sim card and so we could easily connect if we needed transportation. A call to Eyob, the driver and he came to pick us up or bring us. The city is a 20-minute drive. Thank you for the good week.

Mastewal was a great host with the rooms clean and comfy beds. Beautiful views out of the window. Very close to the bus station and SIMIEN mountain office. Only thing that I will say is if you want to book anything such as travel/trips/excursion speak to Mastewal himself. The common space is open to public so people can sell you things and not be able to trace it back ( let's just say I learnt the hard way!). Don't trust anyone In the establishment apart from the host himself. Having said that it is a very convenient place to stay and good value for money and outstanding host from Mastewal. He made us feel very much at home.

A well-lit room features a spacious bed adorned with a patterned blanket and a decorative rug underneath. A large window with a grid design offers views of the outdoors, while a small wooden table and a bright chair add functional seating.
