Very quiet but situated only a moments stroll from the beachfront, park & a line up of restaurants, cafes and bars. With Private Access, the one bedroom apartment is not small & has everything you need for a great holiday. It is perfect for couples or singles, however there is a double size sofa bed to accommodate additions. Located in Dee Why, one of the northern beaches' most popular dining and surfing areas. You are so close to everything the Northern Beaches has to offer, especially as it is just a 10-minute drive/bus trip to Manly Beach & Dee Why has access to the B-line (express bus) straight to Sydney City. Explore & take long walks to enjoy the environment, native flora & vibe of the local area. Long Reef Beach Nature Reserve is a short stroll north, or head south to Curl Curl & Freshwater Beaches. Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Detailed information can be provided, if required, to assist reaching your destination. There are so many things to do on the Northern Beaches. Try a walk around Dee Why lagoon to check out the bird life, or a cliff walk from Dee Why to Curl Curl with stunning views. Walk to Long Reef Marnie Reserve or take a bike ride around Narrabeen Lake. Do a short drive to Manly or visit Palm Beach. Shop at Westfield Shopping Mall. Dee Why is one of the northern beaches' most popular dining & surfing areas. Take advantage of the coastal living & hit the beaches, rock pool or promenade to soak up the sun. It is close to everything the Northern Beaches has to offer, including: * Numerous coastal walks: Dee Why Point to Long Reef Nature Reserve or Dee Why to Manly via Curl Curl & Freshwater beaches. * 10-minute (5.3kms) drive/bus trip to popular Manly Beach * Access to the B-line (express bus) straight to Sydney City

Fairlight House

Beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you'd need for a home away from home stay. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. Separate living room with a cosy fireplace and dinning room for 6 people. A charming study with a small daybed, a desk and printer. Well equipped kitchen good enough for any chefs. Sunny balcony off the master bedroom to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. A plunge pool with sunbed in the rear courtyard garden for soaking up the sun or alfresco entertaining & relaxation. We provide luxurious bedding linen, Egyptian Cotton bath towels, high end bathroom amenities including a hairdryer. Unfortunately we do not provide beach towels and we don't have a BBQ. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the kitchen and we provide a few coffee pods to get you started but you will have to purchase the additional pods at our local supermarket, Coles. Instant coffee and a small selection of tea are there for you to use of course. Guests will have access to the entire house by themselves. Guests will have full privacy. The house is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute walk of the famous Manly Beach precinct, home to a multitude of trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. In addition, there's easy access to outdoor activities, such as bushwalking and surfing. If you don't want to do the 10-20mins walk to Manly, there is a local free bus shuttle (Hop Skip & Jump Bus) that takes you to directly to Manly Beach and Manly ferry. The bus stops right across the street in front of the house and comes around every 30mins. To go into the city there is also a public bus stop just around the corner but we suggest you take the scenic ferry ride across the Harbour into Sydney and you'll be in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. If you have a car you can park on the street in front of the house. There is always plenty of parking available. Fairlight La Maison is a terrace house on 3 levels so there are steep narrow stairs which might not be suitable for young children not used to stairs and elderly people. We have a gas fireplace. There is a Nespresso machine but only a sample of pods will be provided to get you started. If you would like use the Nespresso Coffee machine then you will need to buy extra coffee pods at the local supermarket. We don't have a BBQ. You will also need to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide beach towels at the house. We don't own a cat but our neighbours do. Nero is the black cat and Oscar is the grey marble cat. They are super friendly cats and often wander into the house if the doors and windows are left open. If you are allergic to cats we suggest you don't allow them in the house.
