Vacation rentals with lake access in Norfolk County

I stayed at Jody's gorgeous lake front cottage with my hubby, 2 kids, a baby, and in laws and every single one of us just LOVED it! We arrived the day after Labour Day and the area was nice and quiet after the summer rush, plus we still lucked out with perfect summer weather. The beach is pristine and directly across from the front lawn. The cottage was adorably decorated and even had a bunch of awesome board games, outside games, and children's games and books to enjoy. The place exceeded our best expectations. Jody was a super helpful and responsive host throughout the whole experience. The fire pit was so enjoyable, and the entire property was nice and fenced in so we didn't have to worry about letting our 1 year old toddler run around. We couldn't recommend this cottage and host enough! Thanks Jody!

Michelle and Joel are incredible hosts. They are kind, responsive, and have created such a beautiful space for guests to enjoy. We spent a winter weekend reading by the fireplace, making delicious meals, and enjoying the view on beach walks. Every detail of this space is gorgeous and well thought out - great for a weekend with friends or a family get away. Can't recommend these hosts or this space enough! If you're thinking about booking it - do it!

We were looking for a peaceful getaway from the city. Reubin was quick to respond and very accommodating. There were five of us in the space and we had plenty of room. Great open kitchen and TV area. We went in the fall and did long walks on the beach which was just across the street. Would love to go back in the summer!

What a lovely piece of joy! Felt right at home, multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. Wonderfully quiet and friendly neighborhood. Communication was perfect, and check in was smooth. We will be back for more zen time. Thank you

Great place to stay. Water access and easy to get back in town. Gave such great info on the house and how to do anything you may need while there.

I stayed at Lance's Pink Door Cottage in a group of 14 plus our furry companions over NYE. Our cottage experience was fantastic! Highlights: - Well-stocked and large kitchen for cooking group meals. Having 2 kitchens also meant our friend who is GF could do her separate cooking worry-free. - 4x bathrooms and 2x showers! - Hot tub was pristine. - Lovely little touches and the host left us a gift to celebrate. - Lance was extremely responsive, friendly, and quick to answer any questions. - Multiple living spaces, with lots of seating. - Floors and separate cottage sections are really well sound-proofed, for those who wanted to crash early. Some notes: - Poor cell reception, but that was totally okay since we were looking to disconnect. - Not much is walkable, so be prepared to drive to any local amenities, or cozy up in the cottage for your stay! Overall, we had a great experience, and would absolutely recommend Lance's cottage to others, especially those with large groups!

The location is very close to the beach, sandbar, ice cream shop and restaurant. There is a large yard, and it is very quiet at night. Everything you need in a cottage, is in the kitchen and the back deck is large and nice to sit out on. The windows need screens to keep mosquitoes out. The mattresses are older and will require replacing soon.

Beth's place is exactly like the description and photos. Our family had a great stay (grandparents, infant and small dog). Long Point Park was within walking distance. Even though you're surrounded by other cottages - it is very private - you don't notice the neighbours. It gets VERY quiet at night so the campfire is so peaceful. We made our own meals so the kitchen/BBQ grill/firepit are very accommodating for our group. All cookware and utensiIs available. I really liked the screened in gazebo since we could eat outside and avoid the bugs (and rain!). Beth is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. 5/5 great place and I would definitely stay here again :)

It’s one of the greatest cottages we been to! Beautiful location and fully equipped and such a smartly designed! Absolutely loved it and would come again!

the place was really nice and clean and it was right beside the lake. beautiful and peaceful area for a relaxing weekend. Leigh and his wife were also very nice and responsible and they tried their best to make us feel comfortable at their place.

We stay for a little over a week over the thanksgiving weekend. The place was amazing and so perfect for our family. The house was amazing and updated. The bathroom tub was my favourite place. Our evening walks were fantastic. Would 100% book again

I had an amazing stay at Tommy’s Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, and all the amenities were exactly what I needed. Tommy was a fantastic host—communicative, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience!

Our stay at the sunshine beach house was great! Jennifer as a host was amazing. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived, check in and check out was easy. We will definitely recommend this place.
