Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

I was really impressed by the host's kindness. Thanks to the host who greeted us in person and warmly welcomed us when we checked in, the start of our trip was even more pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable, so I was able to sleep deeply, and the cleanliness of the entire accommodation was very clean and great. Above all, the village where the accommodation is located is so beautiful that I felt like I was healing throughout my stay. The AirBnB is super modern and perfectly equipped! The hosts are super friendly and are available quickly for any questions. You also get some recommendations in advance. We had a great time! Haarlem and Amsterdam are also quickly accessible by car or public transport.

We had a lovely stay at Max's cottage! It is neat and cozy and within walking distance (15 minutes) of the beach. Max is a very good host: he always responds quickly and upon arrival there was a delicious package ready! Nice that there is a children's room and Max even had a baby cot ready for us. Definitely recommended for a weekend in Noordwijk!

The accommodation is very close to the beach and nature reserve. We had very relaxed days there and were able to use the terrace with a beautiful garden.

The apartment was exactly as described – clean, well equipped and in a quiet location. Everything worked smoothly and fully met our expectations. Glad to come back!

We had a great week staying at Maison d'Hotes. The space is really nicely converted, very comfortable beds and lots of interesting decor. And as the hosts have animals, we had lots of nice interactions with goats, chicks, ducks and more. The village is very pretty, too. Expect to have to drive a bit to reach days out, but the Netherlands are not big. We used park and ride (P+R) to reach Utrecht. Thanks Emmanuelle!

Where to start...first of all, the contact with Kristel and Frans was extremely easy and proactive. They gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is a cute little place for two people. Everything you need was there. We also spent a lot of time with Frans and had really great conversations. Kristel and Frans were very open and accommodating. We didn't lack for anything. They gave us tips on where we could eat well, what we could see and where we could fish well. We would particularly like to emphasize Frans sincerity and his positive and funny manner. Talking to him was never boring and always funny! Our highlight was on the last evening. Frans invited us to go fishing on the boat. We spent 3 hours on the water with Frans and had a really great time. We will be back and will bring a crate of beer next time. Thank you two, we won't forget you.

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Our stay was very nice, even as a family of four everyone had enough privacy and we enjoyed sitting on the small terrace. We enjoyed the opportunity to rent bicycles, we rode them to the beach and into the city. We would come back anytime.

We spent a week vacationing with our 1 1/2-year-old son at Leah and Tom's and would have liked to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and explore. Both in the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good has been created with a lot of love. Even a lot of toys for our son were there. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB many times, but we have never had such great, friendly and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always there to help (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and there was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly lovely people! We would have liked to give more than 5 stars! :-)

House was clean and well cared for. Beautiful surroundings and the bikes were very convenient to get everywhere.

Joke is such a cool host and it is clear that she goes out of her way to maximize your stay in Amsterdam. We got to meet her briefly and she is a very interesting, kind and thoughtful creative soul. Her apartment is well located and I think in one of the coolest neighborhoods in the city.

We highly recommend this AirBnB, it is one of the best that I have stayed in! The accommodation itself is beautiful, Mikiel built most of it himself and it is finished off to a very high standard. The decking area is just beautiful, perfect for having our morning croissants from the local Bakery and lovely to sit in the hot tub after a day exploring. The living area is spacious, the bed comfy and the shower worked perfectly. There were lots of little touches which were so thoughtful and my friend really appreciated the gift left for her for her 50th birthday, again our hosts went above and beyond. Our hosts were responsive to queries and flexible as we needed to checkin a bit later. The location was perfect to explore Amsterdam via train and we went to Zaanse Schans by bus which we caught at the top of the road. The houseboat is situated in a beautiful little town with good restaurants, the best recommended by our hosts. Don't hesitate to book this gorgeous AirBnB!
