The white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and other features have been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization).Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three gardens: a front garden, a courtyard, and a back garden. I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

We can provide you with a standard travel plan (Day 1: Arrival, BBQ, stargazing / Day 2: Shikoku Karst & Niyodo Blue / Day 3: Mt. Ishizuchi hike / Extended to Sogai, Osu, Nikobuchi, etc.), so please feel free to ask us at check-in. ■ For couples, families, or group trips It is an entire house, so you can enjoy a private time with just the members you are comfortable with. The former agricultural warehouse (garage), renovated with the image of a jazz bar, has an astronomical telescope, a piano, badminton, and a yoga mat. There are also hammocks in the lawn area, so groups can relax. On clear nights, we also hold stargazing sessions for those who wish to participate!

In a magnificent old house at the end of a Ghibli-like forest road, you can enjoy BBQs, campfires, Goemon baths, and other natural activities that can only be enjoyed in the mountains. There are no street lights, and at night you can see the starry sky. Spending time feeling the mountains with your whole body, which you can see in each season, is an irreplaceable pleasure. It is an old-fashioned house with a magnificent main pillar, earthen walls, and built-in storage, but the first floor is completely covered with cedar boards, giving it a new feel. The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.
