The white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and other features have been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization).Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three gardens: a front garden, a courtyard, and a back garden. Well water flows everywhere, and there is a stream that flows between the water basin, the gourd, the deer repeller, and the stepping stones. It is a private rental inn surrounded by the rich nature of Kochi Prefecture, limited to one group per day. We carefully renovated a traditional house built 40 years ago, keeping the old beams and windows, and created a space where you can relax with your family and friends.Outside the window is a traditional Japanese landscape of rice fields and mountains.You can enjoy the scenery that changes with the seasons from the living room and sunroom. The accommodation can accommodate up to 6 guests.We also provide a baby chair, baby bath, baby futon, toys, etc. so that families with small children can have a comfortable stay. There is also an open kitchen with a dishwasher, a garden deck where you can have a BBQ, and a cypress bath. About 40 minutes by car from Kochi Airport, with easy access from Kochi Station, it is conveniently located as a base for traveling around Shikoku.Located in the Niyodo River basin, it is also within an hour of popular spots along the Niyodo River, which is known as the "Miracle Clear Stream".Access to Matsuyama and Takamatsu is also good, making it a popular choice for many guests traveling around Shikoku. The ultimate hideaway to escape the noisy, busy city, and spend time quietly with family, loved ones, and close friends, just watching the sea. I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

Ishizuchi hike / Extended to Sogai, Osu, Nikobuchi, etc.), so please feel free to ask us at check-in. ■ For couples, families, or group trips It is an entire house, so you can enjoy a private time with just the members you are comfortable with. The former agricultural warehouse (garage), renovated with the image of a jazz bar, has an astronomical telescope, a piano, badminton, and a yoga mat. There are also hammocks in the lawn area, so groups can relax. On clear nights, we also hold stargazing sessions for those who wish to participate!

The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is an environment where dogs can play freely, but if you don't like insects, please understand this before making a reservation. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.
