Two small huts close together in the middle of the forest. One has 5 bunk beds, TV space, separate toilet, and bathroom. The other has a lounge, kitchen, table, fireplace, and another toilet. Very private with river access. Neru Hut is a house nestled in the forest, a 10-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, 15 minutes from Miyakonojura Port, and 10 minutes by car from restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a river on the premises and you can go down and bathe in the water. You'll feel like you're wandering into a private space deep in the mountains. Ocean view guest house Yakushima - Cottage

This location is very quiet & secret place for vacation home. There is a small Tatami room like a tea celemony room that you can use as yoga, meditation etc. for your private time. However, no kitchen facility. We provide an electric pot,cups,small dishies, refrigerater,toaster, so you can bring some food etc. There is sea and forest view from the guest cottage. (back side is large tea plantation) Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.

Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.
