I want to rave about this place. From the moment I booked, the host started asking me about the arrival time to arrange a pick-up. We were even allowed to check in early and they prepared hot spring eggs for us. It just so happened that no one was staying in the other room, and the host's wife took the initiative to let us use the open-air hot spring bath in the other house, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy it. Because it was raining on the day of arrival, it was very inconvenient for us to bring the children, and we wanted to find a laundry room to wash our clothes. The host and his wife are extremely friendly and warm, and have racked their brains to help us plan our routes, book good restaurants, and even take us to the laundromat and then to the Toretore market! Although it was just during the gap of the laundry time, I was very touched. The host even waited at the door of the market for us to finish shopping and sent us back to pick up our clothes!! When we came out of the market, he even bought two cute little gifts for our two kids! On the way back to the homestay after picking up the clothes, the host took us to Qianzhuo, just as the sun was setting. Although it was a rainy day, I really don't know how to thank this host, the scenery is beautiful. The Host's wife can basically communicate in English smoothly. Although the Host doesn't speak English well, he also tried very hard to serve us. He knew that we were going to Adventure World the next day, and he came to take us to Adventure World when we checked out. He also very apologetically explained to us that because he was busy with work today, we could only bring our luggage and go straight to Adventure World, and we could take a taxi to the station after the trip. How could there be such a divine host! But he changed his mind, it seemed more convenient to deposit the luggage at the station, so he took us to the station first, and helped me find a big locker to put the luggage in. It turned out that our suitcases were too big, so he helped us find a manual counter and spent less money! It's just great. Although I only stayed one night in Baibin, this homestay was the most touching night of my entire trip. This small homestay is worthwhile for all the lovely people who come to Shirahama. This place is close to Shirahama Beach, but it's up and down the hill, so it's a bit tiring. It's okay to stay for a few days and take a slow walk. The location of the B&B is quite magical, behind a gas station at a fork in the road, but it is surprisingly quiet at night, and it is actually a minute walk to a big supermarket, which is quite convenient. The yard is very comfortable when it's not raining, it's very beautiful, and there are no mosquitoes. The host also set up a kitchen, which is also very clean and complete. The overall feeling is very comfortable. I will really come back and stay here next time! Want to be friends with the host ~ Thank you for your care!

The location of the house is really great.There was no view of the surroundings as we arrived at night, but we were overwhelmed by the beautiful ocean views that stretched out in front of us when we woke up the next morning.Moreover, there was a beautiful rainbow on the sea, and I was unexpectedly impressed.The room had a direct view of the sea and was unobstructed, so I felt as if I had become one with the sea. In addition, there was a natural hot spring in the room, and I had a luxurious experience where you can enjoy the hot springs flowing from the source.The hot spring was very relaxing, and the privacy was well protected, and it was very comfortable. Also, the Japanese-style room was nice and I could feel the Japanese culture.It was very cozy and relaxing to sit on the tatami mats and chatting around the table with friends. The room was very clean and well equipped with facilities such as a refrigerator and microwave, so it was convenient to use. Even in terms of transportation, it is close to the nearest Shin-Yuzaki Station, and it is very convenient to get anywhere.It was also very convenient for sightseeing because it was within walking distance to Senjojiki. Very nice and clean space. Good location and nice views. We stayed a family of 6 and had plenty of space. Nice bathroom with good laundry facilities. One point of feedback is the kitchen equipment/supplies were very limited. However there are pretty good supermarkets nearby to pick things up.

We had an incredible stay at this home! The built-in onsen in the bathroom was a truly unique and relaxing highlight of our visit. The host was very patient and responsive.Going to play with shoes was broken, not familiar with the local area, could only ask for help from the host, host helped me search several possible places to sell shoes nearby, very sweet.

After I applied, I looked at various reviews and was very worried about cleanliness and security.I brought insect and mold repellent and a sleeping bag, but it was unnecessary.Although it is an old hotel, it is very clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect (beautiful Shirahama Beach and a 24-hour supermarket are just a minute away on foot).In addition, the cleaning man was very kind and always attentive.It was a long-term stay of one month, but I was very sad to go home and would love to visit again.The response to the question was also speedy and reassuring.Thank you very much.I know it's difficult because of the price increase, but I'd like to ask you to keep the price the same.

Kathy and Hideo's Airbnb was fantastic and made us wish we'd had more time to spend there in Tanabe. The hosts were proactive and thoughtful, and offered to pick us up at the station. Hideo-san used to be a guide of the Kumano Kodo track and gave us some great tips. Really enjoyed our experience and hope to stay again soon. Highly recommended.

The house is very close to the sea, the host is very enthusiastic and came out early to meet me. I'm sorry we didn't arrive in time because we missed the tram, so the host waited for a long time, but we were still patient when we arrived, and gave us an introduction to nearby places.

Ah this is by far the best place I have stayed at. The hostel itself feels like a ghibili movie dream. It has plenty of nooks to fall asleep in or relax- perfect gateway from busy life. Its clean, spacious and feels right at home. The best part about this place is the people of Susami- its like you don’t just book a hostel, you book an experience of Susami. And, could not have asked for a better host than Sosuke- planning my next visit already. LOVED IT, highly recommend!

The place looks better than the photos and is beyond our expectation. We all enjoyed the stay! Hot pot stove and pot will be provided upon request, we had shabu shabu during the cold winter night which is awesome! The place is spotlessly clean. Everything is great. The sun rise view from the room is spectacular.

The room is spacious enough, and the hot springs are not bad, so I think it's this price.Perfect for staying at a hot spring ryokan without meals.I just wanted an elevator.The room seemed to still be available, so I wanted to be guided to the first floor instead of the 3rd floor.

We stayed for over a month and liked it a lot. Kids friendly. It is what the description says. Nothing fancy. It does have a decent onsen. The bedroom was larger than expected for Japan. The surrounding area where the hotel was looks somewhat abandoned and far from the main attractions of shirahama, but it was very immersed in nature in comparison to other options. We can definitely see ourselves booking again here.
