After traveling the globe and staying in various hotels and guesthouses my wife and I have attempted to present a Holiday Villa that will cover just about all of our guests wants & needs. Holiday Villa Boston (HVB) is located in the heart of Niigata City. HVB is a 2 to 10 minute walk from historical sites, great restaurants and entertaining bars. I couldn't bring myself to change the exterior's design, front gate or the front door. However, the interior is tailor made for guest to rest & relax.

The perfect house for those looking for a bit of quiet and time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. “Asahi” was originally a “Minka,” a traditional Japanese folk house, which we remodeled a few years ago. “Asahi” is one out of three houses on our property and as we rent “Asahi” in its entirety, you’ll be able to enjoy the comforts of your own privacy. The house is comfortable for two but can easily accommodate up to four guests.

越後七浦の海と山の麓にある築100年の古民家を改装した一棟貸しの宿です。古民家と言うにはあまりにも簡素な家ですが古い様で新しい。この気持ち良さを旅の思い出のひとつとしていただけたらと思います。ここは新潟市西蒲区（旧巻町）の間瀬海岸北陸道・巻ICから車で25分・三条燕ICから35分。眼下に広がる越後七浦の水平線。誰もいない海辺の朝の散歩。まるでジブリの世界のようなハイキングコース。近くには人里離れた山の中のカフェや海に沈む夕日を見ながらのイタリアンレストランもあります。岩室温泉の名店のお弁当を購入されまったりと過ごすことも。採れたての野菜を調理して楽しめる様にアグリツーリズムも計画中。潮の香と波の音に癒されのんびりしたり、海水浴はもちろん弥彦山登山、サーフィンやジェットスキー。海岸線のドライブやツーリングなど楽しみ方は様々です。我が家の「はなれ」としてゆっくりお過ごしください。

I had a truly wonderful stay with the hosts. They are very kind, energetic and enthusiastic people! They put in a huge amount of effort to show me around the area and shared the beauty of Tokamachi with me. We shared meals together and it was absolutely worth the tiny additional cost, the food is the most delicious home cooking in Japan. It is a spot to take a break from the big cities and to slow down and feel peaceful. Thank you so much for hosting me!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place with a stunning view of the mountains. The small private rooms were cozy and designed in a traditional Japanese style, and the bathrooms were spotless. Chris was an incredible host – very responsive and offered great recommendations. As it was our honeymoon, Chris and his family went out of their way to congratulate us with a lovely gesture, gifting us wine. It was a truly thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. Thank you, Chris! We will definitely be back!

wir waren wirklich nur zum Übernachten da, und das hat perfekt geklappt. DAs haus liegt praktisch am Meer, es ist eine Strasse dazwischen und auch der Zug ist in der Nähe, stört überhaupt nicht. du musst es gewohnt sein auf harten Boden zu schlafen, den es sind Futons. Für uns was es gewollt und ok. Danke für die nette Gastfreundschaft lieber Koichi.

Beautiful place next to a pond. The house is big but still very cozy and super-clean! The onsen part is spacious and still private. Hosts were always available and very friendly. Little Poodle Prince made us feel like at home! When you visit during non-Winter time be sure to ask for Kuromoji - excellent tea plant! We highly recommend the place and should we ever go back to Japan, we shall stay at Naomi's and Nori's place again!

民家を丁寧に改装されたばかりの宿で、全体的に清潔感があり気持ちよく過ごせました。キッチンスペースには包丁やまな板、調味料、食器類までそろっており、自炊もしやすかったです。ウォシュレット付きのトイレや、枕元のコンセント、部屋の中の小型冷蔵庫など、細かい設備も配慮が行き届いています。黒電話やサーフボード、囲炉裏など、インテリアのセンスも面白く、滞在にちょっとした楽しさを添えてくれました。佐渡でたぶん最も大きいスーパーまで徒歩四分くらい、ラーメン屋やファーストフード店が並ぶ街のほうへは歩いて20分くらいの距離です。のんびりとした時間を過ごしたい方におすすめです。
